997.1 Alarm arms itself without me locking the doors

Hi all. I'm fairly new to Porsche ownership and enjoying getting to know the car but one thing has stumped me so far. The alarm arms itself automatically after a short delay once I remove the keys from the ignition and shut both doors.
I doubt this is normal so is this an option in the settings somewhere and if so how can I disable it?

Hi Andy, yes mine does that too, you can change it in the setting but think you need a main dealer or v good Indy, the other thing it does is open the car when you just open the boot, I made this mistake a few times and left the car open...so it was good the alarm arms itself !

If you've got Sport Chrono, I think you can change this yourself in the PCM sub menus.
