997.2 Turbo S Exhaust help!!!

Hi Guys,
Ive bought a x pipe bypass for my 997.2 Turbo S from Ebay!
The Tips are already and issue as there needs to be a bend to fit onto my car but the garage has said they can make adaptors for it easy enough.
The problem at the moment is the garage are saying they dont want to fit it as the Cats need to be unbolted from the Turbos and they are worried the bolts will break or they will damage the Turbos.
Do the cats have to come off or is there a way just remove the back box with out unbolting the cats?
There car is still under warranty and I will renew it later in the year so will need to put the orgianll back bx back on for pre warranty inspection.
