I am not sure about the position of this seat belt buckle thing. I have mine inside the seat. I got a couple of universal buckles off eBay. They work fine with the metal clip.

I had a go in my friend's 996.2 who runs the standard 36/44 pressures. Did not like - and his car has standard suspension.
So the difference... is night and day.

My suspension is quite tired (original springs and dampers, 140k miles) and its due to be getting the CG GT C2 kit when Chris can make it available.

I went to a PCGB Cotswold Region meet on Sunday, my first one.

The car was brilliant. Really happy with how it drove. I .... wasn't so happy with the several rivers running across the roads... not much fun to come across !

I like the exterior and the seats (albeit I wouldn’t find those comfy) on the collecting cars one, that wheel and a whole host of interior bits would need changing though, the plastics look awful.

If you are looking with a ~£20k budget there’s a good 911uk car about to go on the market, I know someone was looking at it today. Let me know if you want me to point the seller in this/your direction.
Definitely be interested in speaking to them.

Couple more interesting cars on the market. What do we think about this

Nice spec, low miles. Not sold on the Ruf mods and on the fence on the seat centres..
Quite nice, but it looks a trifle odd as a .1 with .2 GT3 wheels and rear wing

I think that's incredibly cheap, and (steering wheel aside) looks very nice.

Even tough I consider myself quite knowledgable around all sorts of 911, I didn't get the spoiler immediately....
Aesthetically I think it works. I even like the seats biggrin (less so the decoloured backrests)

The car looks a bit rough too me. The RUF tinsel is cringeworthy. It is on the same level as plastering //M badges all over your 116d.
Of course, there are much more cringeworthy examples out there and it doesn't take much to rectify, but I would want take change those spray painted and worn interior details and change the steering wheel. Also are those really oem Porsche carbon bits?

At least it sold for a reasonable price in the end.

I'm sure you could sell the rear spoiler and change for a ducktail if aero is your thing. Although for me you need lower ride height for the aero to work. Like this

Agree with ATM… aero cars need minimum MO30 ride height… but ideally need to be lower to look good.

I'll probably be shot for this... but I prefer the .2 wing and even more so .2 side skirts! getmecoat That's the direction I'll be taking if I can find parts at sensible prices.

I think I prefer the .2 side skirts too. The .1 skirts stick out so much they look like a dodgy Halfords kit.

Oh, I far prefer the .2, but as a whole, it just looks odd to me with a mix

I’ve got a pair of Mk 2 items. They were bought new last year and painted and fitted to a Mk2.
The chap that fitted them didn’t think they suited the car, so he took them off. I bought them last Nov.
They come complete with all the fittings, clips, screws, washers etc.
Rose Passion has them at £1300 the pair. The pair I have will be cheaper ...
PM me if interested.
I also know where there’s a genuine Mk2 GT3 engine cover/rear spoiler assembly for sale if anyone’s looking for one.

Thanks, I appreciate the heads up. I'm not really in a position to buy right now but I'll drop you a PM to discuss. smile
