Fried Eggs 2 the 996 meet up is confirmed for 8 March held at RPM Technik. Anyone here going ? I missed the first meet with a good turn out of cars.

Hope to combine it with the Mucky Duck meet in Ockham. I missed the first one too. What’s really annoying it was only about a mile from where I live but wasn’t aware of it. Obviously if the weather is crap I won’t go as I’m a fair weather tart. wink

I need some oil for topping up the engine. In fact I may just drop the oil and refill it. What's the go to oil for these engines?

I thought these older engines deserve some thicker oil

That'll need to be cheap.

CAT D, Off the road since failing it's MOT in December 2015. MOT history before that is a story of neglect.

Be interesting to see what it gets. If it gets more/close to Wasz car then I'll be shocked.

So all the stone ships and scratches show up more laugh

It's done >120k miles, it's Cat D, has very patchy service history and hasn't run for a few years... I reckon 6k is generous.

Don't know if anyone saw it on FB or the owner might even be on here.

There was a blue C2 (99 I think) with an £8k Hartech engine rebuild for sale for £7k. No MOT but looked an honest ad and a ridiculously good car for that price.

Just needs exhaust, brake pipes and discs pads. Its has a recent clutch. How bad can it be?

Sound like the kind of thing I would buy, spend £7k on parts and spend all my spare time perfecting it and then sell it for £9k.

Assume the pics are not recent given it has no brakes. Crikey the MOT history does not indicate fastidious ownership.
