The super cheap Facebook C2 is being advertised for £12.9k by invictus motors. Original fb post had 123k miles and now showing 112k might be typo but worth double checking if you are considering it.

Sale pictures show 113k, and the MOT history backs this up, so I'd suggest 123k was the typo.
But always worth your own due dil, of course...!

That's a nice little easy profit. With a years MOT on it and a documented rebuild, £12,900 is still a decent price.

Hey everyone, I’m in the market for an “early” 996 - preferably with aero kit.

If anyone is interested in selling let me know (also if you see anything).

One thing I am struggling with is if I want a C2 or C4 - currently I think I’m happy with either but would like to hear thoughts from people who have driven both. Sadly I can’t really go and test drive any, as no one will take me seriously (current Clio 197 owner + young)

I’d also love to have a look around any people own in the Essex area (I’m based in Chelmsford) to get a better feel for them.

What you up to tomorrow morning ? Pop over to RPM technic between 9-12 for the 996 meet. Lots of cars to look at and people to talk to

No reason to buy a C4 IMO, but if the right car comes up & it is a C4 there’s no real reason not too.

Hope that makes sense!

You want a C2. C4 is pointless imo. C2 has obscene grip.

Extra weight for no reason.

C4 front suspension geometry is awkward to clear the driveshaft through the travel.

Handling on C2 edges it for these reasons.

However C4 has a fractionally more rigid shell.

Wether you can tell the difference or not is moot.

The colour is really nice.

Negatives... it does have a sunroof (?), and it has grey interior. I’m not a fan of those wheels, plus it needs to be lower with the aero kit.

Looks really good if the underpinnings are right.

Is that not the same car that appeared a while ago (privately?) with funky big wheels (997s?)? £12k IIRC?

Now ‘tidied up’ and at dealer.

It sounds familiar. I've a vague idea it was parked in a field in the earlier advert. Don't recall the retrimmed seats though. Perhaps there were no interior shots.

I think you chaps are recalling a car that I went to see, and I don't think its the same one. Same colour, both had the carbon pack, but not the same car I don't think. I'll see if I can find the photographs I took when I went to see the first one (they're in this thread somewhere).

Think you’re right, this is the other car: https://www.mr911.co.uk/cars/porsche/911mk996/gt3a...

Yes if you get through all 71 photos you'll see it has a sunroof and the seats have been retrimmed in several different colours. They appear to not be leather in some of the pics which wouldn't bother me but worth mentioning.
