what is an 'early' 3.4 996?
Discussion
Mainly the condition of the drivers side c pillar as lining had been destroyed by water or damp, the missing history, general condition of the paint, the general condition of the interior and the tyres needed to be changed in my opinion as were ancient and cracked but still had tread.
I was comparing my 2003 Turbo interior to that of this car at the time with less miles and the contrast was too stark to ignore.
A lot has been sorted by Luke.

You need to order some trim... a square of plastic for in front of the lever and some carpet.

at 5'8" I think I can disregard the first reason, no arguing about second point. if you have a vanilla car with only the CD storage in there it looks very plastic, this finishes it much neater to me. I did the centre console delete on mine and think it is worth the effort. I posted some info on part numbers here https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...
