BBS Japan have sent my rear wheels, ordered October 2019, but have forgotten to put my front wheels, also ordered October 2019, in the container.

Just to bring this full circle.

Wheels fitted today and I’m really pleased with them (don’t worry I won’t be offended if you don’t agree laugh )

If I’m honest I would have preferred the fronts to be a touch narrower but I’m happy enough.

In all honesty I thought this wasn't going to work. I thought they'd look too aggressive in size and style.

Happy to admit I'm wrong.

Get more pics that show the colour a bit better and as the other guy said, more down the side type shots showing the offset.

Not for me, but each to their own smile

Are you going to lower it?

My piss is boiling in sympathy. What a fiasco.

I feel that I have an enhanced understanding of why they went bust recently.

There may be another container at the end of the year, into which they might put my front wheels.

Is this the response from BBS?

I'd be going for a chargeback if I were you and ordering something else as lovely as they are.

Yeah, nice wheels but not nice enough to tolerate the worst customer service I've ever heard of.

Problem here is that I really want those specific wheels.

BBS won’t air-freight from Japan, so the UK company I made the purchase with is looking at shipping the fronts themselves, at their own cost.

If left to BBS then the wheels will have to come by sea, and there’s no firm data for that, and based on my experience so far there’s a significant lack of certainty that the wheels would actually be in the container.

Has it been mentioned that BBS are experiencing financial difficulties at the moment? Can’t think why, when they have desirable products. Oh, hang on...

Sobering stuff. Hopefully it works out for you. Is a secondhand set worth considering?

Well you are a far more patient and understanding man than I. I don't think I've ever wanted something so bad that I would put up with that st.

If you were building a cup car replica I would understand it's them or nothing but there are so many good options out there and when we're talking BBS you are spending the sort of money that could get you a custom made set of wheels, probably for less £ and undoubtedly they would supply 1 for each corner of the car.

Question is if not LM’s then what? It’s a road car so not E88’s, it’s water cooled so no Fuchs, what does that leave?
