There was a 996C4S in our carpark last week... I had exactly the same thought!!

A ducktail has been a long term plan, but they are just too pricey when other stuff needs attention.
Quite, mine is going to cost me around £1500 this month, that's a 12k service, brake fluid change & a small brake pipe, MoT (passed smile ), top mounts/rear top arms & a couple of other small things.

Not a C4S but I'll just leave this...

What do you recon, is this just a reflective 3M tape? The colour is not 100%, but it doesn't look too bad!

As cool as they look it makes the reach for the stalks quite far and obscures the instruments apparently.

Also, the price is a bit wounding...shock horror! It's simply a Momo model 07 with a logo on it. The momo is £143!
I couldn't give a monkeys what it looks like. I'd probably prefer a standard red wheel but the good news it gives you more legroom because your knees can get up behind it instead of needing to be either side.

Not quite as clear cut as it appears pricewise. Order the genuine Momo Porsche Cup wheel kit off the likes off Gert at Carnewal (345 euros/£300) and it includes the boss kit (£60) and the horn push (which is another £60 if you buy it off the likes of Porscheshop. Though no doubt available cheaper elsewhere).

Demon Tweeks quote £180 for the Momo 07, add on the cost of the hub kit and horn push (so your car looks less like a Halfords special, and more factory) and you're not that far short of having the "real deal", and should you want to sell it on there's a ready market (if you look after it).

Snap! Plus has mine has litronics cloud9 I was going to say I think that's why they look bigger than 18" because of the drop that M030 gives.

Your wheels look good with black centres.

I did the same on Saturday... lovely drive other than the sweat!

Had a pair of PS4's fitted on the rear, Friday, and pretty impressed so far. Considerably less tyre noise than PS2's on the concrete sections of the M25, and far less thumping over transverse ridges (running 36psi).

A quick update.
My A.C. was pretty weak over the really hot week so I asked Luke if he wouldn't mind sorting it under warranty.
Booked in to Porscha Care, north of Stevenage.
Fully sorted for me (it was a pipe joint leaking), along with a replacement roof strip clip.

Firstly, absolutely brilliant attitude from Luke at FGP.

Secondly, Matt at PorschaCare was great. He picked the car up from work in Welwyn, left me his car, and aside from being very nice, clearly knows his stuff. He'll be getting my custom from now on - having a good local Indy isn't to be taken for granted in my experience!

Looks like this little beauty will be sitting on my driveway once the engine has been to Hartech to get 2 new "banks" fitted ( not that I know what banks do)

Lovely colour, dodgy interior & Tip sadly but may suit somebody, some good options too:

Lovely, lovey colour.

Tip & 17's, but MO30 & LSD... very odd spec. I thought the 'sports pack' (or whatever it was called) which got you MO30 & LSD also included 18's and bigger exhaust outlets (which this car doesn't have either).

It looks like it's got a pair of 7.5" front wheels on the rear.

Also... £17k for a 100k mile tip... prices are starting to get a bit silly. This would have been a £10-12k car 18-24 months ago.

My first 996 (a 98R 3.4) had the sports pack fitted. It consisted of: M030 suspension, LSD, large oval exhaust trims and sports seats.
Wheels were not part of the pack. As with most 996 models sold, owners generally opted to upgrade to 18s so you might find a sports pack with 17s to be a fairly uncommon spec.

Have a full set of matching date ambers in the garage, undecided about them against the special order paint.
