It's a different colour and apparently has had as many services as you'd hope.

Not sure about ambers on lapis, but I'd give it a go.
Clearly they can't write a decent advert, struggle with grammar, and don't know what the GT3 wheels are meant to look like, but it's probably priced about right if it's straight.

I'm not knocking the price, just a little surprised compared to what I paid for mine under a year ago. I know mine doesn't have the aerokit, otherwise it's very similar.

Means I can justify spending a bit more money on it to my other half biggrin

Bravo!

I desperately hope they stay accessible. I think the downwards 997 pressure should do the trick, but I worry the early 3.4s may break out at some point. I say worry, I mean suspect.

Don't forget the dealer margin and the extra price for 'shiny....

The pervading thought I have when seeing that car is how frigging awful the 911 badging at the back is.

For god's sake, whoever did that needs to look at the Porsche 911 typography - it's meant to be italic lettering. Looks ridiculous.

By sheer dint of numbers, they'll probably not be as 'classic' as an air-cooled car - I'll be happy if my 3.4 C2 holds its value solidly with a gentle uptick in time.

As Jeremy has said on a number of occasions, as soon as the values rise strongly, then all of the paraphernalia will accelerate in price to match; so a 10-12k Hartech rebuild might become 20 or 30. I rather like driving my old 911 because whilst it's a stable value asset, it's also a car that I can get in and enjoy driving every day. Porsche are rather good at cars designed to do that.

The digits are meant to be rotated clockwise by 20 degrees or so, though!

Tis rather. Look at the elegant haunch over the back wheels. Not so overtly puffed up to look too muscular, but shows intent.

I'll say it again, anyone who disses a 996 on looks needs to go to Specsavers! They're lovely things. And of course, that's the best colour.

(Needs ambers though tongue out)

Agreed bgunn although I think in Silver, ambers aren't that critical.
Out of interest did we meet up recently near Colchester?

As do the front discs, if they look like that on the front face there will be little in the way of braking surface left on the rear face.

I was in contact with Friends Green Porsche on a silver aero car with 80K that sold very quickly for £17.5K, they informed me they have coming to market in the near future similar spec red and yellow cars both with 100K plus that they will be asking more for?
Looks like early 3.4 aero cars with LSD and M030 suspension are pretty hot in the market at the moment

Good service records but the photos are pretty dire. Cobalt is interesting too.

Does make me laugh as a car with 100k will have knackered dampers, and the plates in the LSD will have worn so it'll be ineffective.

So a car with an open diff and standard (knackered) dampers with less miles, is accordingly worth less eh?

Last pic of my car before it gets "ambered".... (and washed, before anyone mentions it)

Had a quiet pootle round the back roads this evening - only the occasional foray above 6k rpm smile
And here it is.. nice & shiny as well

I really like cobalt but that doesn't look cobalt to me. Maybe it's just the pics. I'd say it's zenith.

They were my thoughts but apparently folks are queuing up to buy them, ahh well I really fancied one but not paying through the roof for one, probably regret it in a few years when they are 30K lol
