Front arches or rear arches?
If you are talking rear arches then the bubbles are the tip of the iceberg. I had some bubbles on both of mine so I had them cut out and fresh steel welded in. There is no point in sanding back and painting inside out rust as it'll just come back.
The guy that did it said it wasn't actually that bad but the rears do rust inside out and he's seen a few where the rust is creeping right round inside. I paid £2k to have it all fixed along with the sill ends (behind the wee reverse mudflap thingies). I mainly did this because I've been thinking about selling and I wouldn't consider selling a car on that wasn't as good as it could be.
With all that done and a list of other stuff similar to your car done I recently said I'd value mine at around £16.5k. Others seemed to think a bit more based on the info I gave at the time. Not sure if that helps or hinders your valuation.
I think £16.5k sounds very fairIf you are talking rear arches then the bubbles are the tip of the iceberg. I had some bubbles on both of mine so I had them cut out and fresh steel welded in. There is no point in sanding back and painting inside out rust as it'll just come back.

If you do think about selling in the next few months, drop me a pm. Miss my 996’s. As a daily with AppleCarPlay retrofitted and strong air con they’re mega.

Seems like a nice car but very overpriced.I'm sure it's come down a bit
Back up for £22,500. Isn't that a £4k drop from the original ad months ago?
I mean its looking like a good buy right now if you sell those awful wheels. I'd be tempted to try to strike a deal without those wheels.
As discussed earlier it is a C4 - if that bothers you. Also it is not that early as its a 2001 car but it allegedly has Hartech liners - no idea what other Hartech goodies or if that is all 6

Going On eBay this week, Porsche 996
Manual, switchable exhaust, cable throttle.
CAT D - back in 2010
£10500
Light on detail but on looks alone it seems a bargain. Manual, switchable exhaust, cable throttle.
CAT D - back in 2010

ETA apologies, I didn't realise you had posted details up a couple of pages ago - in which case I definitely think it's a good price. Good luck with the sake, I'd hope someone bites your hand off at that price.

Interior is metropole
Yes Metropole BlueI'd also mention lightweight spec with no door airbags and the simpler less fussy door cards which I prefer much much more to the air bag version.
Also I think I see it has no sunroof - again worth mentioning because some of the Porsche nerds like to know these details and it adds to the lightweight spec story.
When mentioning cable throttle you can also mention no driver aids or traction control which again adds to the lightweight spec story.
I'm sure I read somewhere that these early cars were the lightest 911 ever made but I'd guess some of the really early air cooled cars were lighter so not sure how true this is.

An early 996 without the door speakers (basic audio, no-amp etc) would be even lighter as well. I'd also mention lightweight spec with no door airbags and the simpler less fussy door cards which I prefer much much more to the air bag version.
