This is the longest I have have kept a car - I used to change after 2 years!!

Admittedly, I am not doing the 30K per annum miles I used to, but after 4 years/70K, I simply can't see the point in chopping my 981 in for a 718, so I've extended the warranty for another year.

Historically, I sold my 987 gen 2 2.9 Cayman for £17,000 at 2.5 years old with 85K on the clock old back in 2011.......they still seem to go for similar price!

I am confused how much my bog standard manual 2.7 981 is worth these days....??

I would say the mileage is going to hurt values but it will still be worth far more than your 987 was. These 981's have held the money well. I would say mid 20's value wise?? Got to say I would keep it if I was in your position, 718 is too similar but with 2 cylinders missing!!

That's the conclusion I came to earlier this year, Jimmy!

Great car, but didn't you post the exact same thing a while ago?
