On the exhaust it depends on budget and whether you want cats or not.
Generally in terms of starting cost they are around the prices below give or take a few quid bit you get the picture. They all sound better than stock with Europipe the most bass and Speedtech / Kline more of a howl but a turbo will sadly never sound like a GT3 or even as good as your C2
Capristo very nice sound as is the 9e exhaust. ESM catless the best in terms of least back pressure as no cats. Going through this process myself.
Akaprovic £6000
Capristo £4000 but much less catless
Cargraphic £3500
Europipe £3000
9e switchable £3000
ESM catless £2500
Speedtech £2500
Kline £2500
Europipe, stunning quality. In fact they're almost too nice to fit ...Generally in terms of starting cost they are around the prices below give or take a few quid bit you get the picture. Couple more little jobs tonight. Put a basic private plate on it to stop people who don't really know what it is wondering about the age. Didn't really think through that people are going to think my name might be Esta, which is definitely isn't, this choice was largely random. Oh well, stuck with it now...
I have since been back to the autoparts shop to get a black screw. My OCD couldn't cope...
Any thoughts on a product or service (nr Oxfordshire) that you'd trust near such a car for sorting out a somewhat worn bolster?

So today's shopping turned up. It had some ropey, faded and swollen stickers in the wheel caps so they had to go. They were also coloured badges and I bought a black-on-black car for a reason, the only colour I'll forgive is the red calipers. Now I except they were probably cheap aftermarket ones and replacing them with more cheap aftermarket ones may not be a long term fix, but I think these are the ones I had on the C2 and they lasted two years.
I'd also be tempted to spring for a couple of these http://www.climarepair.com/porsche-replacement-swi... to replace the climate control buttons that peel (about 30 mins to swp over - not hard) - and the round knobs (if they've gone sticky or are marked) on the (I know you don't like it) PCM2 are £10 each from Porsche (more if you pay design911! - and a lot more from Climarepair!) - makes the cabin feel newer. Also Bluetooth streaming and Ipod/USB MP3 playback can be added for about £350-£400 with a Dension BT500S which fixes the connectivity on a PCM2 (and is much easier and cheaper than going the Alpine/Kenwood/etc route) - and a map update makes the 2d maps better if it's not been done (£35 ish online for a 'backup' copy).
Nice car - nice colour (my C2s is black) and I agree about the more aggressive looks, I keep thinking about changing the front bumper for a turbo or aerokit one (and adding a ducktail to the engine cover)
As for the smaller jobs, back to that gear knob. The alcantera was filthy, I figured I'd have to buy new but it came up lovely with some dilute AG leather cleaner and a towel and some gentle cleaning...

There's a YouTube video on alcantera steering wheels and all he uses is a bathroom towel (bit rough) water and soap.
I was a bit doubtful so I used Autoglym leather cleaner instead of soap.
Then just gently work it over the surface. Rub a bit but really not too hard. You don't seem to need to scrub it.

Good shout on these switches, ordered those. I got the round buttons off ebay for £15 each too.For now I've stuck a pay-as-you-go sim in the PCM2 and will live with it. I will go for an apple play double din at some point but not just yet. So I probably will upgrade the maps. Where did you get the maps that cheap. Climarepair seem to want £75 plus £20-odd for firmware upgrade first.
Off to NewTrim tomorrow to see what they say about sorting out the bolster first.

what exactly did you use on the gearknob ? i have an alcantera steering wheel.. and its getting a little tired..
Here's the guy's video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZJ8shQDLD-gJust the tiniest of mods today with some crested dust caps arriving from Design911. Today was really about a good wash though. Too dark to get good photos sadly and it'll probably be dusty again by the morning
Trying to decide whether to decrome the back end like I did the C2. Matt black exhausts tips are very likely, maybe a Matt black turbo badge too

£30 herehttp://www.satnavdvd.co.uk/2016-porsche-pcm21-navi...
Perfect, I've ordered the DVD. The dials turned up for the PCM2 today but the climate switches are still in the post.
Not hard to tell which one's the new one
Starting to all look much tidier all round
Still, it's not really the little bits that matter is it, had a nice drive tonight. My gear changes are improving!
