That's an, er, interesting colour combination.
Agreed. It's a very strange combination of exterior and interior colours. They both look good in isolation but together it looks a bit naff.

I would imagine Porsche GB are aware and also the selling Dealer which means they know who the Flipper is.

It wouldn’t be difficult to get the VIN number if you viewed the car, and a Porsche representative may have done this already!

Shouldn't be too difficult for Porsche to check the spec against their orders and cancel it. Giving someone else a bite of the cherry...

Flipping git! biggrin
Isn't that a physical car in the ad?

I am guessing at £300k+ profit they have decided that burning bridges with the OPC is worth it. If they'd specced it properly the might have made £400k profit!

OPC in Wales supplied !!! they are big into giving away build slots to flippers

The number of RS’s flipped proved it last time.....

Good luck to them!

“Karma” will get them in the end

I think that's technically "a couple" smile

It's a bloody shame though.

Fair enough imo - I would also sell and buy sth else if I could get that kind of money for it. One of those Jag XJR15s or a CGT or a 997 4.0 - quite a few cars I would happily trade my GT2 RS for if I was not rich enough to own these types of cars already (and had a UK build slot).

And I wouldn’t even be worried that they will never sell me a car again as I am sure times will change and the entire overs thing will disappear for Porsches. Not that long ago that they struggled to sell out limited cars such as the 918

So good luck to the sellers - the next new must have car will be along shortly

£740k must be £500k over. That is a good profit. Are nicely specced cars like this trading hands at this level?

Have to say it is ridiculous. This flipping must be completely on the radar of P uk. They must know the buyers who are doing this. Makes a complete mockery of the ‘ allocated to loyal buyers ‘ only philosophy

I think even the most previously loyal buyers can't ignore £400/£500k tax free profit ........ I wouldn't be able to ignore that kind of life changing sum . Who's paying these crazy figures though ?

I understand and share your sentiment.

I don't think they know until after the sale takes place. How could they? Then surely the seller gets black listed. Surprising so many people don't mind getting black listed.

I don't understand why there are such huge values placed on this car. Yes it is the latest and greatest, and has been hugely hyped up especially after the Nurburgring record. But.. as I understand it's not a limited edition car like the 911R? It will be interesting to see how many they make in total.
