I think there have been production delays.
Mine was meant to leave the factory 19 March and now I understand it has slipped almost a month
From the closed GT2RS group on FB, message received from Porsche by a Luxembourg customer (translated):Mine was meant to leave the factory 19 March and now I understand it has slipped almost a month
"Ladies and Gentlemen,
We would like to inform you that due to additional quality checks delivery of 991 II GT2 RS may be delayed.
Vehicles are gradually released for dispatch. In individual cases this may take up to 6 weeks.
Please excuse any inconvenience caused"

Thanks.
I wonder what quality checks. Sounds like they are batching up the cars and this is causing delays.
Delays are due to Titanium cage supplier issues..The original supplier apparently went bust and a new one is now making them..There is also delays with supplying the Mag wheels..I wonder what quality checks. Sounds like they are batching up the cars and this is causing delays.

Just because a deposit has been taken, doesn't mean it sold for £580k...Note how quickly the JZM car was dropped to below £500k in days. If you speak to dealers about these high end prestige cars the open and transparent ones will tell you its been a quiet few months. They are hoping good weather after the snow etc kick starts the market but you sense a few of them getting nervous. Can't say I'd want to be holding on to lots of stock comprising cooking Porsche, Ferrari and McLaren in the current market.

I do keep an eye on some of their stock. They've had their Rosso Scuderia Speciale for sale for over 2 years. If you think dealers are beyond putting out a few fake marks I can tell you they're not...
I think the following is lovely and initially spotted it a little while ago too: http://www.romansinternational.com/car/1519/ferrar...

Don't believe that for a second. I suggest you follow Roman's on Twitter as their stock appears to be flying out of the showroom at the moment....
Market is certainly interesting - there is a lot of high end stuff 'sticking' 458s/v12 vantages/california T been watching for a short while. One thing to note is romans have a cut off (guessing 3-6 months) that with the exception of high value or SOR cars that they trade cars that don't sell, I have seen a few cars from there end up at John Holland before...
The chap below makes a good point that it can be easily smoke and mirrors to what the market is really doing.
Can't really go wrong with gt3/gt2 RS can you though... Im just hoping that the gt4 replacement is NA and not a crappy 4 banger!!!
