I think it may be worse than that. A few of these sales may even be phantom sales....

Note how quickly the JZM car was dropped to below £500k in days. If you speak to dealers about these high end prestige cars the open and transparent ones will tell you its been a quiet few months. They are hoping good weather after the snow etc kick starts the market but you sense a few of them getting nervous. Can't say I'd want to be holding on to lots of stock comprising cooking Porsche, Ferrari and McLaren in the current market.

Don't believe that for a second. I suggest you follow Roman's on Twitter as their stock appears to be flying out of the showroom at the moment....

I do keep an eye on some of their stock. They've had their Rosso Scuderia Speciale for sale for over 2 years. If you think dealers are beyond putting out a few fake marks I can tell you they're not...

I know one of the specialist dealers that is thought very well of on here had sales volumes that were 25% of what they normally are in Q4. And would agree that dealers “paint pictures”

So Romans have just got a zero mile Miami Blue GT2 RS in at £535k - lets see how long that lasts

Good luck with 10-14 days delivery. Mine has been at Emden for over a month. There is an issue which Porsche refuse to disclose detail or timing. No need to inform customers.

Mine went in to build early March then seemed to disappear off the radar. It’s now showing as having exited CT assembley some 6 days late.

Supplying dealer has a car that went into build on the same day and very similar spec that is scheduled to arrive at the dealership this week.

Seems very random with no definitive answer to why certain vehicles are being delayed and not others.

Any further updates deliveries ? Anything delivered recently ? All I am being told is that there is a problem of which Porsche are unprepared to share. No timetable.

Mine has not moved from the compound near Emden yet , dealer thinks it will move soon, they wont give any details, not sure why not.

That was noted somewhere in the main article that stated it was set on a 'special' Cup2 that Porsche were planning to bring out next year (ie this year 2018) for trackdays. And goes part of the way in explaining why the 2rs recorded awful cold braking performance even relative to the trofeo (no mean feat that) but terrific when warm.

Mine went in to build March 9th...went off the radar for a week or so with no updates and turned up at dealership this morning.

Hopefully those still waiting won’t have long to go now! This was my dealers 2nd car out of 3 total.

Later than i expected originally, but earlier than i expected recently ;-)
