Silver looks great. I've gone with the Miami Blue with Weissach, lifting front axle, gold wheels and the red interior ! Crazy colours .. love the GT2

I'm not on the list but curious to see what people's expectations are for getting into a used one. It seems like they are building significantly more than the 997GT2RS and it can be argued the 997 is a purer car. What do you reckon the entry price will be from a flipper, more or less than the asking price for a 997GT2RS?

Somebody on another thread posted a 700 - 750 sterling range from memory after a chat with a dealer (possibly OPC can’t recall)

That's bonkers! Aren't they building between 1,500 to 2,000 units!? Maybe for the very first car the overs will be ridiculous but towards the end of the year I wouldn't expect them to be anywhere near that level.

I believe there's already some flippers on mobile.de at around €500k. Sad really, but that's the market...

Gratuitous pic of one that was outside Leeds OPC the other week...

I’ve read £400k to £500k as the anticipated range....which is punchy enough for a £220k car! Over £500k is mental...you’re in 4.0 RS or CGT money in that range! IIRC their are about 30 RHD 4.0 RS’s in the country/delivered new. I reckon the UK will be getting around 100 GT2RS’S....from what I know OPC’s are getting between 2 and 4 cars.

I too would reckon 500K for a Weissach pack car.

Chatting at my OPC last week. Said they were aware of a customer who had already done a deal to flip his as soon as it arrives, for... £700k

German Specced car is about 330k though, so at 500 not a ridiculous premium (while still a lot clearly)

And that is tax free!! I'm not the one to advocate flipping but I can fully understand that.

Apparently tax free it is.. I say tax the profit at a rate of 50%, at least. It'll go to help stop the flipping for sure..

Happy with that, as long as they allow car depreciation to be written off against tax as well..
(which they would have to do, and why it won't happen)
