OPC's don't fit PPF themselves and it does not have to be covered by them,

its down to the company supplying and fitting it.

The company that fitted this PPF originally, first said the warranty was only with the first owner,

now they are trying to say it was only covered for 12 months, what will they say tomorrow I wonder ....

they have been around long enough to know better, the new PPF is to be fitted on Wednesday,

Porsche do need to advise customers that they are not responsible for this film on the date of purchase so that

buyers can have it removed if they wished so they could to choose to have a new product with warranty applied

ps I'll post pictures of the film when its taken off - not sure what colour it will be, perhaps white, brown or streaky solvent red ...one thing for sure its not

going to be clear.

From chatting to a London specialist he told me that they have had a few cars when they have been asked to remove and refit ppf that had been badly fitted by other companies. This was on really high end stuff from the Middle East that has been flown to London

I think it's quite hard to get right and labour intensive. I guess that's why it's not cheap

If this PPF company was'nt so pig headed they could have corrected the car,
causing little or no fuss for the OPC, but they are known for their arrogance !
