I really got in to SLV and followed them avidly.
Lost interest when they took up the $m sponsorship deal and the whole thing went from being a guy and a girl sailing round the world, just getting by, to a full time business venture.

Not really.
But Riley and Elayna (sp?) portrayed themselves as low budget, inexperienced sailors scraping by on charm, favours and good fortune.
Taking on a million dollar catamaran direct from the manufacturer steps away from that somewhat and part of me wonders if they've secretly been chiselling away at their big break for some time.
Good on 'em and I don't envy them...much, oh no, not one little bit, but it's no longer the vlog it started out as.

They're really fun to watch. The live streams on a Sundy afternoon can be quite informative if they can sremain connected for long enough.

SLV is now the 2nd choice, they're not the same now they have the new cat.
