I'm going buy a Jetski to leave in Spain and after much deliberation I think I'm just going to buy a New Seadoo spark as I can't be bothered buying something older and probably much more powerful but then when I go over for a few days it doesn't start or I have to mess with it.

I have had a jetski before over here which was an older one and was a pain in the arse always breaking. I've also just been to Spain for the weekend and the in laws boat wouldn't start on the 2nd day which was annoying.

Any idea if it is better to buy here or over there? Also if I buy here how much can I expect to pay to get it over there?

Has anyone achieved a discount on one of these?

If your buying new ,dealers can only give about the same discount as each other ,but you can maybe wrangle a deal on accessories ect .

I'm sure you've crunched the numbers but from your description it sounds like hiring one would be the best way forward.

I'm pretty sure hiring would be the cheaper option but all the family will use it so I'm fairly committed to buying one.

I have contacted a few dealers in Spain. None have been forthcoming with any sort of discount .
