I'm pondering replacement options for my outgoing Cayman and the GT3 has come onto the radar. Ideally a 997 clubsport although the lure of a pdk for me might lead to a wallet busting 991....

My main concern is the ride and steering and if they are as good as my current car. I won't automatically accept its better just because it's more expensive I need convincing! If there is anyone in the area that has one and wouldn't mind me having a nose it would be appreciated. I can reciprocate with a go in a Lotus or Cayman smile contract info on profile.

If you think the R was too harsh good luck with a 997 GT3 lol

The R is unsophisticated not just harsh.

Stick some 600lb ohlins on a Lotus its still useable on the road if theres complicated stuff going on with the dampers. I concede I may have painted myself into a corner with the Cayman as its just so good hence this request.
