No, for a pair of Topgear silencers.
£449 including vat and £120 fitted.
Basically matching Topgears 911UK.com offer, with what I think is very reasonable fitting, which I wish I had taken them up on.
Do you have a link or picture. Yours seem to be half the price £449 including vat and £120 fitted.

I will delay buying them until I hear from you. I was getting my Indie to fit.... price unknown, having oil/filter change while it’s in.
I went on 911UK but they only seem to have DesignTek , Dansk etc.

I asked my indy mechanic yesterday about the topgear exhaust. His feedback wasn't glowing. Simple response was "they're cheap". His view was that another option, such as Dansk or Milltek would be better. We didn't get into the details, so to be fair I can't say exactly what his beef with them is. I tend to trust their word (maybe too much??). He didn't say they're a bad option. Picking up the car tomorrow so I can elaborate further, if you're interested.
The main thing for me though was my current exhaust, factory original and "Gundo'd", is still good and doesn't need replacing. Other thing they said is that catalysts tend not to require replacing and neither the manifolds. So when it comes to it the back boxes and piping are the first items to replace.
In other news, I current have:
~35,000+ mi driven on current brakes, not even close to needing changing
~22,000+ mi driven on Michelin PS2, with plenty left
Does that sound about ok?

That is what I am using, on a 996, but it says 996/997 and says years match.
Mind you, that maybe 3.4 and 3.6 only.
I would call Topgear and speak to Alex, say you saw the 10% offer on 911uk.com and need to know which one.
I chose standard delivery and it was there next day.
If your car is a 3.8 then you may well need the more expensive one.
I would call them.
Edit: I have got a feeling that the difference between the 996 and 997 silencers is the way the tips attach to them.

I have the Dansk super sound silencers on my 996 that was fitted less than 18 months ago that I am taking off, far too loud and barky, and there is some drone too when cruising. Going to whack them on eBay for £300.

The price difference between 996 & 997 is almost double
Thanks for your help.
I was going to order manifolds but when I spoke to my Indie, the bloke I spoke to put me right off with tales of bolts snapping off and drilling / re-tapping etc. Don’t know whether to do them now. There’s nothing wrong with the original manifolds ( not that I’ve ever seen them ) so should I just leave them in place ? Thoughts please.

Hi. I have now been direct onto Topgear website & ordered the back boxes. The price was £875 inc. vat. On eBay they were £899 so not a lot in it ... but like Tesco say “ every little helps “.

Thanks for your help.
Just pick up the phone and you will get 10% off as well. The price difference between 996 & 997 is almost double

Definitely leave them. I will do mine at some point. But it is a two day job as the bolts will snap in the head, you then have to use a jig to drill them out, retap new threads and put on new bolts.

Forgot to mention. Car is 2007 997.1 3.6 TipS
I will post when boxes are on re: sound etc. I’ve heard bad reports bout Milltek seams splitting and sounding tinny.

My indy said the same, rather not have the manifolds out and, if he did, it will be painful (on his hands and my pocket).Forgot to mention. Car is 2007 997.1 3.6 TipS

A well known indy quoted the following for seized/sheered manifold studs...
"To make you aware seized manifold studs are £100+vat/parts each for extraction. Obviously we do everything that we can to remove cleanly."
I went elsewhere in the end, and as it happens they all came out without issue (2007 GT3). On the face of it, it's an easy job but the thought of being stranded with no manifolds on the car and sheered bolts tempered my DIY enthusiasm somewhat.
