Got mine from a Porsche OPC complete with new tyres, so a bit more expensive than £2,835, but not much I seem to remember.

Are they Fuchs or Porsche Sport Classic which I understand were a Fuchs look-alike built in Italy ?

They were Porsche Sport Classics. They did look good.

Even if I say so myself.

Ah I see now they were on your 997.2 C4S ... mine's a C2S which are different offsets IIRC and that's the problem I have (I think)

Not my car, but I think one of the 'rightest' 911 designs is the 997.1 C2, in grey, with the 'crab claw' alloy wheels, like the one below.

Agree. I’ve just bought this slate grey 7.1

I don't post much here, but wanted to fly the flag for higher mileage cars - now approaching 96k miles

I bought this 997.1 C2S last week. It's my second 911 - previous car was a 996 C4 Cabriolet. Shouldn't have bought a convertible, or a C4!

It's tiptronic too - thought I would hate it, but I was pleasantly surprised. So easy to drive in traffic, and the shifts are quick enough when you use the buttons.

I love the wheels - this design looks properly 'right' on the 997 I think....

I couldn't agree more. Here's some I made earlier :-)

I think I am alone in saying I don't like the Lobster Claws.
I've those multi multi spokes on my summer tyres and five spokes on my winters (a god send to clean in comparison) but never been a fan of Lobsters.
Not at all, lots of people don't like them.

No, I'm no big fan either...
I've got a similar setup as you, btw.

summer 19" SportDesign:

winter 18" CMS C12 five spokes:

They came with the car and I have yet to see them mounted. I'm still undecided on the looks.
Does anybody know CMS? I have never heard of them before.
I would have gone for 18" Porsche Carrera III wheels myself, but hey ho...
At least they are fitted with virtually new Conti T810 Sport tyres, so not to bad I guess!
