The 997 Appreciation Thread
Discussion
A recent shot taken of my .1 GT3.
There’s really not much more I’d want from a car. I almost bought a new GT4, but had always wanted the 997 GT3, so picked this up 7 years ago. Still has very low mileage but every drive is an event.
The Mezger howls, the car is racecar-esque in its lack of features, sparse cabin and lack of sound insulation. CGT seats just complete that feel. 13 years after sale she’ll still keep up with modern metal on your favourite road, although gets eaten alive on track by almost all new Porsche sports cars. Still capable of over 200mph (330km/h to be exact) though
I don’t see me replacing the GT3 anytime in the future as it does everything I need and more importantly, want.

"embossed Porsche logo" sure, embossed ...
And then the dealer goes on and highlights this with an extra photograph ....
Then he goes on and writes "CARBON INTERIOR!!!!!" into the ad when it is clearly badly wrapped
Also Bose (sorry, I meant BOSE!!!!!!) and "telephone module for PCM" but has after market head unit and subwoofer
