How much of a difference does the non-PASM sport suspension make?
Once you've got all that why not just go for a GT3, are they a step too far for road use?
You make a very good point. but when one is at that 100k+ bracket I think I’d rather go for a pukka classic. Once you've got all that why not just go for a GT3, are they a step too far for road use?
PASM can be deleted or upgraded to a more modern controller like DSC https://www.dscsport.com/product/dsc-vplug-n-play/
Video about it on YT here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6vfzd8nOPvM
Bilstein also make coilovers and shocks that are PASM compatible. But they also sell PASM delete modules, so you don't get an error code with a passive setup.
A Bilstein B16 DT and a DSC Controller would certainly be a big improvement over stock.
On the other hand, I'm very pleased with my C2 and the passiv sports suspension (-20mm + LSD).

You could choose a no cost option to switch to the passive -20mm sport setup.
In this ad - below - for a gen 1 he claims to have it and suggests its option code P17. I'm not sure about the gen 2 as I've seen some Internet chat suggesting there is a lower PASM option but can't be sure about gen 2. I know more about gen 1 because I had one in 2005.

Also, too much writing on the car.
This reminds me of an anecdote, shared by Erich Bitter of Bitter automobiles. As a former race driver and all-round handsome devil Bitter knew everybody, including Ferdinand Alexander "Butzi" Porsche.
One day, Bitter announced to Butzi that he was going to start his own marque. But he was iffy on the name. "Bitter", said Bitter, "that sounds like a real turn-off. 'Bitter Lemon', 'bitter defeat'..."
Butzi replied: "Don't worry about it, Erich. I mean, what does this sound like: POAAAOAORRSHHUUAY?"

Fantastic! This looks lovely. How was the drive?
What interior do you have? I don’t care much for white on a non GT Porsche, but it is one of my most favourite colour for this gen GT3

I must say that I don't like white either, but on a GT3 it looks superb!
