The 997 Appreciation Thread

Spent the weekend sliding around the back roads in Austria (ski's on the roof). The 911 still impresses me with its traction. Loads of cars struggling to get out of the ski resort car parks, yet my 911 just crawls out with little fuss. Even on the back roads, ones where the plow hadn't been yet, it just got on with it.

Now that looks like a lot of fun!!!Got to say I'd have a hard time parting with my 997 - Gen 2, manual, N/A, 385hp, widebody...just seems to be a bit of a sweet spot in the more contemporary 911s. Saw a 928 today and it looked very cool indeed, something about how wide they look and the stance. To think that design is over 40 years old!

All factory.. was a little bit apprehensive about colour but knew I wouldn't come
across spec like that again.
Have now grown to love it.
Just done over 2000 miles faultlessly on a run to Spain and back .
It's a keeper ..
Hi, I’m not 100% sure but I might have your old 997, can’t imagine too many around in that spec. Purchased from Jzm last July across spec like that again.
Have now grown to love it.
