Discussion
I'm just an observer, but I think the Touring can take bolder paints, in the same way that the early '70s 911 looked so good in striking colours.
I do think any silver, grey or black, and SBM will look too 'run of the mill'. I did think GBM would be popular on the GT3s, but it's been really disappointingly flat - almost battleship grey.
Obviously PTS would be the best option, if available, but failing that I'd be tempted by Crayon or Carmine

Having seen some pictures of 911Rs in bold colours, I think you can get away with most colours on the GT3T. Depends if you want stealth or to make a statement.
I was up at Reading on the weekend and saw quite a few cars in the workshop and parking lot with most of the GT3 colours available to view. They all looked good but the bolder colours worked surprisingly well.
Robbo66 - There was a car in Miami and it looked superb. Have you seen one in the metal?
I wonder what the final build numbers will be for the GT3 and GT3T? The guys at Reading seemed to think the Touring was making a late surge in terms of orders. I wonder if this is due to late availability or recent allocations going to normal / road users rather than PHs / Track users?

only 1 touring ordered via my OPC (mid-Sussex), of course the first batch of cars were ordered prior to the announcement of touring option, but for the 2nd batch only 1 person went for a 'touring', me.Koln-RS - sadly PTS is not available for rhd UK orders

I agree with a previous discussion - bolder colours like Miami are better suited to the winged GT3. I think the Touring suits more subtle colours.I was up at Reading on the weekend and saw quite a few cars in the workshop and parking lot with most of the GT3 colours available to view. So 5 options in total.
For me, it'd be..... 991.2 GT3 with Touring Pack and Manual Gearbox.

Yes, several times, only on the winged version. Has an added green hue in some light to further cheapen the overall look. There are several blues that work, but this simply does nothing for the car IMV...🚙 Robbo66 said:

Anybody speccing a touring with comfort seats?
Me - but only if 18-ways are considered comfort seats?Edited by throt on Wednesday 10th January 17:17
Hopefully you’re right. OPC kindly organised a half day at PEC to try all seat options prior to my car locking: to be fair I still wasn’t sure, even after trying seats on the road & track. So, as I’d had 4-ways twice before I thought “better the devil I half know”.
As the helpful PEC guy said “exiting the car in car parks can be a nightmare with LWB & folders; plus it’s nice to be able to recline the seats, now & again”
Cheers.

Comfort Seats and Lift will make the Touring the ultimate daily. Buckets and a Suit are a bit cringe IMO, as this would be my one car to do it all...mostly. (run another 4/5 seat car for family duties)
