I think that whilst the buckets are cool,(i have 918 LWB in my GT4) if you plan on using the Touring a lot and primarily on the road, you've got to take a look at the comfort seat options. I had 4-ways in my 997 GTS and 18-way in my 981 GTS - both of those were daily drivers - 18-ways were perfect for that job.
Comfort Seats and Lift will make the Touring the ultimate daily. Buckets and a Suit are a bit cringe IMO, as this would be my one car to do it all...mostly. (run another 4/5 seat car for family duties)
I have been using my 7.2 GT3 with folding buckets as a daily for seven years. They are the most comfortable seat I have sat in so farComfort Seats and Lift will make the Touring the ultimate daily. All sets of seats seem to be comfy for a lot so its really down to the practical side. Such as , getting in and out. If its a busy daily car then the comforts get the nod. Weekend blast toy,, get the buckets.
LWB or Folding Buckets = sense of occasion as you get into the car (and for me puts a massive smile on my face)Comfort seats = daily driving experience similar to getting into any GTS/S/T (until you turn the ignition on)
My car is a weekend Summer car so will not be a daily driver therefore LWB suits my ownership style, but completely understand and one who is using it on a daily basis to get the comfort seats.

Just turned down a GT3.2 (not touring) with 18 way seats. They may be more comfortable for getting in and out of, but come re-sale, look out. Well there will always be someone who fits the 18 ways better than any bucket so resale won't realistically be a problem as seat fittings are very individual and it merely comes down to price and if you simply don't fit the bucket seats, there's no point thinking of the extra £Xk on resale when you grouse about the seats everytime you drive your own car.....

I'm 6 foot 6 inches. For fellow tall types there's no alternative to the fixed buckets unless you like your knees around your ears when driving, as the reduced depth and thickness of the bucket seat relative to comfort/adjustable/heated seats provides the driver with far more space. And another useful thing I was able to do whilst at the PEC was to confirm that the bucket seat adjusts as far back (and so provides as much driver legroom) in the Clubsport as in the non-Clubsport GT3. So the cage doesn't constrain the seat moving backwards. In both cases, the front of the bucket seat is level with the furthest forward part of the bonnet release catch in the sill (if anyone else cares?!).isaldiri said:

100% agree.Buckets may well get a bit more dosh resale. But is it worth it after owning such after 3 years of daily driving. Myself, I think not.
Again, weekend blast and buckets work for you, have them, big time..

Happy that it seems to be a pretty light spec focused on driving options rather that stupid deviated stitching and extended leather.
Get out and drive spec - well done.
Not sure either of them dictate that. I'd argue a touring should have those luxury sort of options spec'd more so than the standard GT3, surely?Get out and drive spec - well done.

That's fairly close to my car (Mine is Carrara White Metallic with Aluminium wheels) so I'm very happy to see these pictures as I know I've made the right choice for me.My car has a build completion date of 20th January so should be in the UK the first week of February.
