First post for me! I have a GT3t coming early March. I think I have been disowned by my 11yr old son who wanted me to order a winged GT3 in Lava Orange! I have ordered a GT silver, Lwt Buckets, Platinum wheels and Ceramics. Cant wait. I noticed that there is a lot of controversy over allocations. All I can say is that I am not a 'VIP' customer, have had one 911 C4S before. Sent in emails 2 yrs ago asking to put my name down. Went in to the dealership met the principal with my son and chatted about cars a few times. Got a call just before Christmas. Amazing.

All sets of seats seem to be comfy for a lot so its really down to the practical side. Such as , getting in and out. If its a busy daily car then the comforts get the nod. Weekend blast toy,, get the buckets.
Hi chap smile

Not sure so get the issue with getting in and out of buckets - very simple if done correctly - once you get it , you get it smile

I have been using my 7.2 GT3 with folding buckets as a daily for seven years. They are the most comfortable seat I have sat in so far
Just turned down a GT3.2 (not touring) with 18 way seats. They may be more comfortable for getting in and out of, but come re-sale, look out.
You’re too young for 18 ways smile

Exactly. Yes, it was a manual car. Huge spec mistake.

Right hand on sill, roll and push up and you're out. Its really very easy and no bother at all smile

Some people put the left leg out first, this is a mistake. With hand on sill and both feet in the well, you lift yourself out.
Piece of p*ss really smile

Edited to say - putting the left leg out first in a right hand drive car is a HUGE mistake so don't do it as you'll end up in A&E. Don't put the right leg out before you've pushed yourself UP either! Oh dear, laughing to myself now.

I spoke to Rick at Highgate House who has kindly sent me some options for my car and I think I’ve decided on my final number plate size and side stripe colour. Did consider having the PORSCHE in Yellow but it looked lost against the white.

Nice Martin. What colour / finish are your wheels?

How are you planning on mounting the front number plate? I am not sure if I want the large Porsche number plate holder for my 4 digit reg..

Rick @ Highgate House is making me a stick on number plate. I will not have the front plinth or any holes drilled in the front bumper.

This picture is the sizing of the different plate options
