There’s an owner on Rennlist who owns both cars (as you do) and posted videos of back to back with the cars on same road.same day with a dB meter in the car which showed the Touringn being louder.
would you have the link to this, i am interested to hear/see the difference.https://rennlist.com/forums/991-gt3-gt3rs-and-911r...

Thank you Phooey but I simply don’t get the touring prices. It’s not an R and taking the wing off adds 25-35000 pounds. Nah, utter stupidity.
You are trying to callibrate to other equally silly prices they are all too high imo sure its a NA engine but its not 100k better than a well specced GTS unless you factor scarcity. And tourings are far scarcer than regular GT3sFokker said:

Its not an R you're right (the differences are much discussed elsewhere), and although not a limited edition like the R is more scarce in terms of numbers delivered. Its also about £150k less at the moment, so it's going to have some admirers. I must have been asleep when these were announced as the ability to be fairly stealth about what you're driving really appeals to me. For that reason alone I didn't buy the Swindon (as lovely as it is, Carmine is a little loud for me) so bought privately this week instead.

I'm in the same boat as i could have bought a Touring at list..I configured a GT3 PDK in RY instead which is absolutely insane brilliant, although attracting boy racers way too much for my liking..In hindsight i should have gone for the far more understated Touring in a subtle colour e Black or GT silver.I must have been asleep when these were announced as the ability to be fairly stealth about what you're driving really appeals to me. Its the thinking man's GT3 IMO and a definite grower which reflects in the well deserved premium it commands over the winged versions..When i get my RS i will get a stealth Black one as i think the Lizard is even more a 'catch me if you can' colour than my RY.
PS You have the awesomest car collection, both current and historically i've ever seen..Great taste in cars..!
I love the understated look of the Tourings and think they carry most colours very well.
But, being subtle, I personally think it needs slightly stronger, more distinctive GT colours.
Silver, black, grey are too under the radar and very mainstream. I think this is why so many people add stripes to silver.
Graphite Blue was a disappointment. Crayon can stand out, but a touch too light. Carmine is a really nice balance, but of course PTS would have been the best.
