The Rev matching on the manuals only does it in sport so will have to drive with it off and turn other things on.

The default is off for rev match and very nicely is separate so you just turn it on when you want. The "Sport" button other than starting a cooling strategy earlier does nothing other than the rev match..

Porsche Kuala Lumpur have two GT3's coming, unsold.

Right hand drive of course.

They did print me out a build sheet and price but I've mislaid it, from memory around £200k Nice chap and how we laughed about the cost of cars in KL. I can't think of much places worse to own a manual Porsche either. Nose to tail traffic and lots of high bumps and ramps.

They had 6 911r's All sold to the Malaysian royal family... 918's around £3 mill.

That's what I thought ? 997 and earlier were narrow body...although IIRC 997.2 RS was the first wide bodied GT car.

I believe the GT2s are also wide body 996 / 997

Edit: as was the 997.1 RS I believe

Don't want to confuse any more, but wasn't the 996.1 GT3 built on a non-sunroof C4 chassis?! confused

996 GT3 and RS are definitely both narrow body and I think 997 GT3 too. 997 GT3RS as has been mentioned was wide body and I think all GT cars since are of the wider body.

I can confirm 996 was narrow body, at least mine was.

The 991 has three widths, standard, then a sort of size 1.5 for the C4S/GT3 and size 2 for the turbo and GT3RS.
