I know I'm going to make myself unpopular with this comment - but I prefer the look of the 991.1 at the front than the 991.2 - It looks far more organic and sits better with the side profile of the car IMHO - the 991.2 has that angular fold on the front nose section line that doesn't work as well with the curvature of the side profile - all IMHO

Wouldn't throw either out of bed though smile
+1 true

...but then the 991.1 doesn't come in manual...

Agreed! Have thought this for a while but not got around to saying so. The front PU treatment just looks wrong to me.

In all fairness the above is not a very flattering pic of the front.
In other pics it looks good and also in the flesh but as with all these things, it's a matter of personal taste.
If anything, its a bit more aggressive now than it was on the .1

This is very true and keeping to my earlier metaphor ; it is sometimes better to trade looks for technique smile

Thinking of "wonky stickergate" and "slab of smoked salate", your track record on what looks good isn't a glorious one smile

He even stickered the glove box he tells me wink
He is however a true gent, so it matters not.

Please tell me you’ve gone for Red, Crayon or White and not ‘Council bin blue’. When is yours due ?.

These are both very fair points and you’re right to point out my deficiencies to the wider group and Rob thankyou for doing the decent thing too smile

However, thinking this through, If It turns out I actually add no value what so ever to the group from an aesthetic point of view and also no positive contribution from a technical perspective - plus a distinct lack of driving talent ; then I’m left with the roll of class joker - that’s about right - happy play the fool smile

Edited to add - actually I don’t even have an allocation so I shouldn’t even be on his thread :

Andrews gone GR .

If blessed by the OPC ; I plan to go White or maybe GTSM - both with as many decals as I can fit on the car smile

I think your place is well deserved on this thread and you contribute in a positive thoughtful manner......Besides we need a balanced view from somebody who unfortunately has no allocation as of yet, to counter the somewhat overdone misguided euphoria from the rest of us much more fortunate few..
When my DP informed me of my allocation my simple reply was (and i quote) : ''You have chosen wisely grasshopper''. I always express my gratitude in the most appropriate manner due to my impeccable upbringing.jester

I think these are a good start if you want to dip your toe into the world of the decal, you know, before you gradually work up to something a little less subtle smile

I agree .... no car as well , but more interested in the heritage of Porsche and not the brand . I have lost money on all the GT / RS/ RSR Porsches I have had , and not interested as drive them all ( will be at Daytona next weekend trying to win for Porsche ) .
No car , no issue just have to stick to Ferrari on the road as the DD .... not really bothered
Sounds like you have your hands full - exciting stuff smile

Had to laugh when I saw this. I bought the no plate NO02 PDK to go on a Touring, if it ever arrives. Freeze point just moved back by a month.

Anyone else experiencing revving under breaking with sport mode on without initiating a gearshift? I will give the manual a read but out of the country at the moment.
