Anyone else experiencing revving under breaking with sport mode on without initiating a gearshift? I will give the manual a read but out of the country at the moment.
No not at all. If the car revs under braking, then it must be speeding up at the same time (or the rate of deceleration slowing down) - are you noticing that also??Are you sure you don't just have "clod-hopper" feet

Didn't engage the brain there in my explanation. Are you sure you don't just have "clod-hopper" feet
I noticed it when bedding in the brakes, if you dip the clutch when braking with sports mode on the car blips the throttle. I thought I remembered with the GT4 that the car auto blipped when you moved the gearshift, but I could be wrong.

Lol, I'll try this out tomorrow and let you know my thoughts - it will also auto-blip when you upshift if you are slow and let the revs fall off.I noticed it when bedding in the brakes, if you dip the clutch when braking with sports mode on the car blips the throttle. Picked up my manual GT silver car last week and it's just awesome. So much more involving than the 991.1 PDK car, you can enjoy the car at all speeds not just at full tilt, perfect for the road with the special feeling of a GT porsche. Perfection ??
Sorry, i phone turned photo upside down 🤔

Is there any way to switch off auto blip when in sport mode?
I drive my 7.2 GT3 with sport mode on all the time to get the proper exhaust note. Don't want the blipping though as I love to do that work myself
Exhaust is separate button . Sport button is basically just auto blip . I drive my 7.2 GT3 with sport mode on all the time to get the proper exhaust note. Don't want the blipping though as I love to do that work myself

660 miles so far and loving the manual GT3. The car is so aggressive - the extra torque and free-revving nature of the engine results is slippage under "mild' throttle applications = bags of fun...
Still yet to open the car up fully, but ventured up to 6k rpm a few times and it is addictive - just need more miles so I can give it full beans
If you have a manual on order then you won't be disappointed.

You definitely don't need the sport button - pedal position and way the car revs makes it very easy to heel and toe on this car. Which was a pleasant surprise as on a PCCB GT4 the brake pedal is higher and it is more tricky. AndrewD said:

I end up using the sport button after about 1/2 an hour out, depends how often you use the car, the thing with all these newer cars is you can daily them and put miles on them as they are free cars and easy to drive, so one may as well use them imo.Why heal and toe to Waitrose on Monday night !
Auto blip is a great feature as long as one can turn it off.

What the flying fluff!
Did he mention Waitrose, let alone Monday’s? No! He’s stating an opinion, these cars by their very nature are driven fairly infrequently & for a multiplicity of reasons, ergo, if he wishes to H&T, it’s not a crime for xxxxxx sake! You do not, repeat do not, have exclusive rites to how others should drive their P&J!
Rant over, I feel much better for that. I can now get back to my rather lovely Pinot Noir
Peace, love & lowered blood pressure to all.

nothing to do with how people drive, Sounds like you have had too much of that red :-)
He should have said, "I don't think I'll use the sports button " not "YOU" as that's then pointed at me ;-) and I like it

Used mine just about every day since I got it . 900m in and up to 6000rpm now. Plenty fun on cold greasy roads . I did breifly think about being precious with it but you only live once and as you say they are basically free. Apologies but I have been known to occasionally have the sport button on

“He should have said” falls into that category. A missing/ill chosen word, or ill advised phrasing or a coma lost, all lead to unintended stress; where none should exist. It’s a Forum, open to anyone to express an opinion, it isn’t life or death! Hence, all opinions have some validity, however tenuous, or irksome, to some.
Personally, I find the aggression on display by some frustrating. I’m all for reasoned debate & civilised discourse, but when someone forcibly rams their opinion down my throat (again the 2D sterility of the Net plays a part here), I am guilty of reaction**
Peace, love, low blood pressure & another glass of even lovelier Pinot Noir to all!
Pedal position does seem fine for H&T even at moderate speeds which is good on the PCCB's.
I've used the sport button a couple of times. Seems to work slightly differently to the GT4 as in a couple of times it's rev matched when changing up from 2nd to 3rd. The revs drop a lot quicker than in the GT4 so if you're not quick enough or on it, the revs have dropped to far hence the up matching. Bit odd but still worked well. The rev match is also slightly later than in the GT4
There are bound to be small differences I guess.

is it possible to have the gt2rs bonnet stickers ordered from factory? i saw, briefly a miami blue 911 (on the opposite side of a dual carriage way so had a barrier inbetween us) with white bonnet stickers, as per the gt2rs.
I only saw the top part of the car so not sure what the car was, ie even if it was a gt3
