My brother is going to spec a Touring I think. He's considering black which would suit it well with pccb's and platinum alloys.
A thing of beauty
Blacks a poor seller and not many people want to look after the colour, it's a rare choice these days, it's ni on a dead duck on the Cayman R.A thing of beauty
Not for me.
I'm going to spec black on my gt3 and if its worth 10 k less come resale,( I'm assuming that's what you mean by 'poor seller' and 'dead duck') so be it. It looks the nuts

Watching someone drive the manual GT3 at PEC. Been half hour on the low friction track and he’s managed 12 spins, 1 half drift, and 10 minutes standing still
TBF, I confess I found that really difficult to get right. I could generally get the thing drifting, but always, somewhere from 180 to 270 degrees, some bit in the back of my brain would say "we must need to exit the bend now" and I'd either ease throttle or wind on a little more opposite lock, almost involuntarily. It's much, much harder than doing donuts!Digga said:

Now even I never did that.

I agree with this totally..When i did my GT3 day at the PEC i found the kickplate easy in the gen 2 GT3..In fact it never caught me out once even with all the nannies off..I think this is more a reflection of the GT3s reaction speed rather than my quick reflexes..On the kick plate, I felt the GT3/RS the quickest and easiest to correct and control really.
However my instructor did comment on my reflexes, perhaps a welcome trait from being constantly nervous and on edge..

Quick reactions and handsome looks are a common combination... apparently! However my instructor did comment on my reflexes, perhaps a welcome trait from being constantly nervous and on edge..
I obviously have extremely quick reactions.

Ok so I was there today doing my drive day in a manual Carrera GTS............ Shock horror, I quite liked it ........still wouldn't spec it on a GT3 though
Correct me if I am wrong but I think the GTS is a seven speed manual but the GT3 is a six speeder. My 991.2 GT3 is PDK, My 991.2 GTS will be manual. Best of both I hope
