Are we having a Cars and Coffee at Portsmouth to celebrate its arrival and handover?
Just over 600 miles on mine now and all going very well. The airbag deployment emergency call issue was a pain and I spent 3 hours at Portsmouth on Monday when they downloaded all the fault codes and linked it up to the engineers in Germany. Unfortunately despite all the valiant efforts a fix wasn't found so the system has been deactivated until it can be resolved. Apart from the I am loving the car, just not the weather at the minute. However weekend looks better!
Gareth - yes indeed. 11am Saturday - I'll be there from 10.30 till about midday if you'd like to come down. There will be a few others there too.Just over 600 miles on mine now and all going very well. All of these positive vibes on the manual GT3 is not doing my 'spec regret, choice of PDK any good at all...Can we please have some negative comments on the manual or my insomnia will continue to deplete my dwindling energy reserves.;)
Did you have a 991.1 GT3 ? If so I can't see you feeling that much difference if going PDK . Sounds a little better , goes a little better , looks a little better, slightly nicer place to sit . All great but to say any other than marginal gains would be an overstatement in my opinion . The transformation ( for me ) is the box . Changes it from a car I sold after 5 months to the best car I've owned . Zero Spec regret . Edit : well a little Spec regret .... paying £800 for slightly different shade of silver wheels .... in hindsight a bit daft

Don't worry about it - PDK-S will be epic just as it was on the Gen 1 GT3 and RS. It will be a different experience in the manual, but the PDK-S is a real game changer - just in a different direction to manual.terryb said:

I got lots of interesting excuses ....
Cant load GT3 when tides are low .
Only a "few" positions per ship for GT3's
Transporters can only take one .
Greenpeace .
Have to go to Sheerness rather than Grimsby
I think the best I've done is around 9 days Emden to on my drive , so this one was a bit of a shocker .
It was probably crashed into at Emden and it took 5 weeks to fit a new Qtr !
