Thanks. I've still got my 2010Spy, the original, and my first Porsche so will hopefully always have it!

This is pretty much what my GT3 will look like. Very lucky....

Just spent a fun hour with the OPC finalising my spec. It is now complete! For those interested, here it is - PJU2D9Q6. The main dilemma was Folding Buckets or Full Bucket Seats. I wanted Folding, but I still think they sit too high so I have gone for Full Buckets which are height adjustable.

Nice. That was my second choice. Will look good with black decal on side?

Mine was £132500 plus road tax at I think 2k so a whisker under 135k.
Complete bargain when you think about it!
It is a bargain compared to any other car in its class, and markets forbidding, will hold its value at the same time. I take the view that the only cost of a car is depreciation. Hopefully that will be low, which allows me to buy such cars.

the list just makes the GT3 look less of a bargain imo you could put Caterham in there or any thing, no new car is a bargain when figures of £135k and £2k road tax come into it, let alone the ave £20k in finance on top !

I am sure I have a slot, my OPC keep telling me I do lol but still no deposit paid, I am staring to think do I even want it !
I might be the 1st person to turn down a slot ! ;-)
Really, you are going to turn down your allocation?

I think the OPCs should read this thread in order to determine who gets a car smile Especially now that MrDemon doesn't want his smile

FWIW - I have cars with both - I prefer the folding in my 981 Spyder as they can be heated - otherwise I prefer the 918 buckets - both are amazingly comfy seats though - can't loose with either smile
Thanks. The problem may be my car. I have Folding in 987 Spyder - feel very high. I had Full Bucket in 981 Spyder - felt perfect. It might be that the seats in the 987 were just higher generally?

BTW Spec looks great - just needs the decals on the side and you're done smile

Yep, the decals will go on at Reading. I was going to say it's a dealer fit option but that might start a cat fight 😊

Wheels. When configuring today, I wanted the brightest wheels. The configurator 'says' that the brightest are the standard wheels, not satin aluminium. Does that accord with what people have experienced?

That's 'my' OPC too. Have a word with them for me will you, old chap? biggrin
I would have a word with them, but Reading is not my OPC. That's where the decals are fitted, apparently. I will call them in the morning however to see where your car is smile

Is that gt silver ?
im assuming that an R, it looks stunning !
It is GT Silver and it's an 911 R. However, I did Photoshop this - it did have Green Stripes, which I changed to Grey. Also note that this is not a true rep of GT Silver - it's 'popped' in the picture to make it look more stunning. Still looks good though, and is exactly how I have ordered my GT3. Please note that I have applied for Copyright for this spec, so please don't copy it smile

Are these std or aluminium wheels? What did the R come with as std.

£10k sitting with OPC for over 2.5yrs and still no call. Optimism is not high.
Jeez, that's tough. Maybe they've forgotten they took the money!

It's not just Porsche. I left a deposit on an i3 on Saturday to be told that I was pipped to the post by another buyer for the last physical car in the country! So I bought a Mini JCW instead which arrives on Friday!

I think my Porsche owned OPC did get 12 in the first run. They were expecting same in 2nd run but got fewer.
