I didn’t make the cut ☹️ I never use cruise control in any of my cars, maybe there is a correlation between these two things.

Wow...sorry to hear that. Hopefully you'll be at the front of the queue for the next car you want.

Just spent a fun hour with the OPC finalising my spec. It is now complete! For those interested, here it is - PJU2D9Q6. The main dilemma was Folding Buckets or Full Bucket Seats. I wanted Folding, but I still think they sit too high so I have gone for Full Buckets which are height adjustable.
BTW Spec looks great - just needs the decals on the side and you're done smile

Is that gt silver ?
im assuming that an R, it looks stunning !

It is GT Silver and it's an 911 R. However, I did Photoshop this - it did have Green Stripes, which I changed to Grey. Also note that this is not a true rep of GT Silver - it's 'popped' in the picture to make it look more stunning. Still looks good though, and is exactly how I have ordered my GT3. Please note that I have applied for Copyright for this spec, so please don't copy it smile

I like the sound of that, not the cruise control bit but the 'all my other Porsches' ....

Your GT4 was an epic spec John you must miss it? Sl glad I kept mine, will only go if i can get the new 4.0.

Don't worry Dave as i fully intend to utilise my exalted statusbow to secure the next model GT4 or Spyder. My much more senior cleaning lady has confirmed to me that both will be 4L nasp.On balance i'm probably going to get the manual Spyder to complement my upcoming GT3 RS.
Now i must dash to check up on all my household staff..shoutpunchsmash

Nice combo John! You'll have to get your gardener to mow the lawn so that we can take Porsche tea on it in the spring!

My OPC still hasn’t said anything. They say mid December. For now only cars built in jan and Feb are being confirmed. Rest mid to end of Dec.

So for now still in limbo.

Confirmation today there will be virtually no likelihood of a third run.

Possibility of less than 332 gen 2s if so rarer than the gen 1.

Looks like it yes.

Not surprising really with difficulties with basic 911 allocations, the effects of the tanking pound , new 911 T, new RS etc.

If this turns out to be the case then my total net worth has virtually doubled. I wonder if the reason behind this is the GT3 production line will be needed for GT3 RS and GT2 RS after March.

I was told similar last month that there would only be 2 allocations. I suppose it depends how long they keep producing the second run?

Jan - March? or as a friend has told me he is getting one of the last Cars with a June delivery.

You know what impossible colour to show well - changes as the light hits it and you move around it - I think it’s one of the best colours in the whole wide world smile
