I still can't quite believe it, but I got the call from DL Swindon to say Feb build with March delivery, had a great time specifying it yesterday!
Out of interest did you have a deposit down with them? Also have you had quite a few Porsches from them this year? Many congrats what spec did you go for? Thanks for the congratulations, I'm still finding it hard to get used to the idea! Phone call was last Wednesday, yes I had a deposit down from launch. I am not a serial Porsche buyer, but have been a customer of Dick Lovett BMW and Porsche for quite some time, and I use both for sales and service very happily. It may also help that I'm trading my GT2 against the new GT3?
Spec is Agate, ceramics, black wheels, lift, PDK, Clubsport, folding buckets.

Looks like they may have had a second batch of allocations. I was told about 12 days ago that they only had 2 for Jan build Feb delivery. Might be a slow trickle of cars coming through?Spec is Agate, ceramics, black wheels, lift, PDK, Clubsport, folding buckets.
RSVP911 there is still hope!

What mileage and spec is your GT2? And can I ask why you’ve decided to trade it? They’ll be giving you money which is nice when buying a new car! Spec is Agate, ceramics, black wheels, lift, PDK, Clubsport, folding buckets.

It's just over 38,000 miles, PCM 3, Clubsport, all-white exterior including wheels, splitter, cage (by factory for first owner). I've owned it for the last 7 years, using it less for track days (I now have an Atom for that ) and more for trips to Europe so the lack of nose lift is a nuisance. If I hadn't been offered a GT3 I would happily have kept it.If I may adulterate a GT3 thread with a GT2 photo:

I was told that Bolton got 7 gen 1s ,and have got five gen 2s and aren’t expecting any more.
Today my OPC told me they have received their final allocation for 2018 and it is less than expected/hoped for and a few customers have been given that heart sinking phone call to say they aren’t being invited to the party. It looks like allocation 2 is approx two thirds of allocation one with no allocation 3 expected.

And? Fingers crossed for you!
That must have sorted it - it's stopped raining and they've finally let me in - have to say, it's not easy to buy a GT car now days - but sheer tenacity and a flexible approach finally wins the day - that's me done now - never want to buy another car again MartinRS2K said:

Confirmation today there will be virtually no likelihood of a third run.
Possibility of less than 332 gen 2s if so rarer than the gen 1.
I was told similar last month that there would only be 2 allocations. I suppose it depends how long they keep producing the second run? Possibility of less than 332 gen 2s if so rarer than the gen 1.
Jan - March? or as a friend has told me he is getting one of the last Cars with a June delivery.
Had to trade a couple of much loved GT cars for the privilege though.
Allocations are getting harder.
Be interesting to see what demands are made to get an RS!
10k deposit since announcement.
FWIW they are allocated just 3 cars on the second run and confirmed again no third run.
White/GT Silver undecided yet 'manuel' full leather (incl gear lever and s wheel) red stitching carbon clubsport ceramics lift platinum wheels etc.
No cruise.....cruise is for wimps on GT cars. :

Cruise - very useful for stopping you speeding in built up areas I find.
RS - OMG - don’t even go there !
My spec was either White or GTSM - tough choice !
Lastly be careful with Red stictch with PCCB’s - but mostly the red overkill due to bloody seat stripe
Either way, really glad you got a car !
