Haha, I wouldn't bother. Likely to be tripe. Car is cool though
Haha, I’m used to watching YouTube tripe, not sure there’s much else on there, but if it includes a T it will be watchable I’m sure

Looks like build dates are being brought forward.

Mines moved to CP8 early March with mid March delivery.

Hello all

First time poster in thsi part of PH

I've got the unexpected opportunity to secure a T build slot and I am sorely tempted.

Some questions if I may ?

1 - Non T specific, how easy is a 911 to live with every day ? This will be my all day every day car, trip to the station each morning, pick the kids up from the short trip to school etc etc Rear seats are going to be needed and just how useful are they ?

2 - Build slot is scheduled for March, any idea roughly how long one has to wait between entering build and delivery to the UK ? I have a road trip planned last week of April and would love to have the T by then if at all possible.

3 - Is the T interior pack a must ? Dealer seems to think so but am tempted to go for 18 way adaptives and coloured belts instead. Any thoughts ?

4 - Are these cars actually selling or is my dealer spinning me a yarn regarding how lucky I am to have secured an option ?

Many thanks in adnavce and those of you who have them already, enjoy !

It is a daily sports car, and the seats are usable... under 5ft seems to be the sweet spot anyone taller and it’s a bit of a struggle to get in and out.... someone is bound to tell us their 6ft 15 year old does trips to Monaco in the back, but that wouldn’t be the norm..!

2 - Build slot is scheduled for March, any idea roughly how long one has to wait between entering build and delivery to the UK ? I have a road trip planned last week of April and would love to have the T by then if at all possible.

Mine arrived about 3 weeks after the build slot... Your dealer should let you know..

3 - Is the T interior pack a must ? Dealer seems to think so but am tempted to go for 18 way adaptives and coloured belts instead. Any thoughts ?

Any interior, colours etc are all personal choice and very subjective.... I’ve had the yellow T interior and I absolutely love it... It really pops out and has a bit of a retro feel to it in my opinion..... I think if you didn’t have it and you saw one with it, you may be disappointed......

4 - Are these cars actually selling or is my dealer spinning me a yarn regarding how lucky I am to have secured an option ?

A good friend of mine saw my car and called around every dealer he could and couldn’t get one... so given that ..... its probably in relatively short supply now or indeed allocation has gone..... there are some used already which don’t look over list price so who really knows..!!!

Many thanks in adnavce and those of you who have them already, enjoy !
Hope that’s useful ...

Very !

Thanks v much.

Are yours the 4 way seats ? You find them ok ?

I had the 18 ways on a Macan and they just seem a bit of overkill.

I've nearly always got a 911 of some sort (have just swapped from a 991.2 GTS for a GT3), and yes they are perfectly usable everyday. Rear seats are fine for children up to say 12 years old. I don't ever use it for school drop off though, I don't want to be that guy....;)

March build would suggest you'll have it for April, but the factory is working flat out prior to a late spring shutdown, so deliveries could be delayed, so I wouldn't bank on it.

I've specced the T interior on mine - I've always been of the view that options like this which are unique to the model are must haves, much like the GTS alcantara interior in a GTS. I've specced 4 way seats just as I had in my GTS, and I find them superbly comfortable, I didn't see the benefit of the 18 way seats when I tried them. Its tempting to fit the bucket seats though, as they are also unavailable on a std 911, but annoyingly, it then means you can't then have the T interior.

There are not a huge amount of T allocations available for UK. Most dealers appear to have fewer T slots than GT3. Its not mega expensive either, so residuals likely to be fairly strong.

Me mindful that if you spec tinted rear glass you lose the lightweight glazing, and that you'll need to add rear seats, PCM and a DAB radio, otherwise it'll be built without them...

I love 18-ways in 991. 4-ways are good but 18 ways are better for me. YMMV.

Super last minute change of spec for me, swapping yellow for white.

Still probably the only T with no T interior pack as you can't spec with folding buckets (which I adore)..

Hi, as already posted it appears build slots are being brought forward on both the T and GT3.

The T interior is available with the P11 fixed Spyder buckets but not the cheaper non height adjustable P3 folding sports buckets.

Good Morning,

I asked this question on another thread but did not get an answer. When speccing the Carrera T you can only get the Carrera T interior package with standard seat or fixed buckets. I feel the foldable bucket seats could offer greater flexibility for putting bags etc in the rear of the car. However I do not know if the extra flexibility is worth not have the Carrera T interior. The difference might only be inches but we all know a couple of inches can make a huge difference. So I have heard.

Any pics of the two seats would be great. cheers

kind of, people are buying them mainly on the presumption of lower depreciation but they are much easier to get than any GT car

Although it has to be said many OPCs including mine have been allocated half as many Ts(4) than GT3s.

The T will clearly be rare.

the difference is demand though, gt3's can be sold for profit and are desirable cars - if you can get one then it's a no brainier whereas not everyone offered a t has decided to proceed.
