Did my swap yesterday.....traded in 991.2 GTS and collected my T (manual). Given only a heavy rain 50 mile trip home first impressions are what a great car. Love the manual gearbox, love the T interior.
Now its obviously down on power of my trade in GTS but at no point would you really tell. I am sure that a better driver than me could tell but for a weekend car never to be tracked then this is going to be fantastic.

Will post a couple of pics when home -
GT Silver
T interior (yellow bits)
Rear seats
PCM
And a few bits I have probably forgot.

Anyone gone from either an S or GTS "down" to a T, any thoughts?

Happy times ahead!!!!

That is an interesting swap, can I ask you the reasons for swapping?

If i'm honest I just fancied a change. Only had the GTS 12 months and I loved it, great car, really quick too. Was offered a great deal so got a T plus a Macan for other half. I am really after a GT car of some kind in the future so I am perhaps playing the game a little.

But after 50 rainy miles I can say this car is great, I am going to enjoy this.....There isn't any bad 911's in my book so wasn't much of a risk. The engine and manual gearbox combo feels great. A better diver than me would say it isn't as quick as the GTS but it certainly doesn't feel any worse a car in my hands.

If you have one coming or already own a T, i'm sure you will love it whatever you had before.

I changed from my 991.1 GTS pdk into a 'manuell' T (white, T-pack in red, white dials...) and I'm delighted. The GTS was awesome but frankly a bit meh... The T is fast, agile, sounds fantastic and with the manuell box, I feel like I'm driving again. Reminds me of my first 911, a 993 C4S, but better not go there in case I blub...

Mine finally arrived (DAB rebuild delayed it - I was the first order at my dealer). It's basically impossible to drive it without grinning biggrinbiggrin

Had a sit in one at my local OPC yesterday and what a lovely piece of kit it is. Racing Yellow with manual gearbox, carbon bucket seats and yellow T interior all up for £100k. Weirdly good value in relation to the 918 for £1.4m smile

Is the Racing Yellow your spec or the car at the OPC because my dealer said there were no manuals available in yellow or white apart from the Sheffield demo advertised on the used section?

It's for sale in their showroom, so they are probably not letting it go to another dealer. Photo lifted from a few on their facebook page.

So there are manual T's around despite being told to the contrary! Which dealer is this one with? Looks a great spec. Oddly the one's I was told about had pdk, sunroofs and privacy glass - all a complete no no IMHO.

This is at Tonbridge which is my local dealer. It has no sunroof which is a good thing in my opinion

Rather than call my dealer up and create expectations - can you still order a new ‘T’ and what is the rough delivery timeline?

A lot of the comments on here are about dealer stock and I didn’t know if that means you can’t order anymore, or everyone’s impatient!

I saw you can still build one on the configurator.

A long delivery time suits me as I promised my wife I’d keep my Range Rover Sport for a while......7 months so far and already looking....

I was planning to wait for the 992 - but I’ve loved the ‘T’ concept since I first heard about it, and you all love them. That’s good enough for me.

LOL, I was just giving my pal enough room to get out of his Boxster GTS parked next to it. It's a hotel car park and the stripes are only there to stop anyone thinking that there is enough space to squeeze another car there as there is only half a space!

As I understand it, Porsche Centres are not taking any more orders for the T, all the build slots have been allocated but someone may come along in a moment to tell you I'm wrong!

As far as I am aware no more T allocation is available in the U.K.... Got mine in early...!!

Anyone any ideas of final numbers .... 180-220..or more..?

Nearly 3 months in now and 2,200 miles...Loving every minute...

How’s everyone getting on with mileage and any one still keeping a record of specs etc..?

I’m 1200 miles in and loving every minute, unfortunately acquired a cracked windscreen Chasing a naughty McLaren last week but that’ll be sorted on Thursday. Off into trough of bowland on Sunday for a few more spirited miles smile

I did keep spec record from here updated but probably need to review and update or maybe start a new thread. For some reason I’m weirdly interested in what everyone is speccing!

I thought approx 260 were coming to uk but not sure if all taken up. Pretty sure order book is closed now though. The snoozers are losers imo, fabulous car.
