I’m after a manual with both cars . I’m not fan of the buckets and need the back seats as well. I can afford a GTS lucky and love the looks . However I don’t really know if there are worth 15k more.

Are you referring to the Miami blue one ? I enquired about that as it’s my favourite colour combo but it’s got a mileage discrepancy, as someone might have messed with the mileage so the OPC aren’t going to sell it but auction on the trade market so I’m sure it will turn up shortly again but the market again, however the permanent mark on the HPI is a no for me at that sort of money.
The Miami car just sold for 68.4k

Couple of lovely spec Silver manual cars just advertised.....

Looking forward to seeing the pics of the second car with the Sport Bucket Seats.....shame about the sunroof, otherwise it would be my perfect spec.

That first one is a really lovely spec with the buckets , manual ad rear seat delete.
But one genuine question why would you buy this over a 718 GT4 / GTS for similar money but slightly newer . Surely if you want a manual 2 seat sports car then Cayman is the obvious choice.
For me the whole appeal of the 911 is the rear seats are actually quite useable in the 991 and really useable in the 992 (but 992 not to my liking a sit looks bloated to me ). So a T with all of the above and rear seats would make more sense as surely the rear seats don't add a huge amount of weight , which would be negligible if driving 4 up anyway , and give you the best of both worlds

Its a unique low volume model that is already under valued.

Rear seat delete, light weight glass, cloth door pulls, a real fun package.

I really love my yellow Carrera T, the perfect weekend car.
pretty easy to do all of those things to any 911 though! £2-3k should cover it

Not sure about that.....I think the GT2RS rear glass is about £6k as a spare part...

The 718 GT4 is too small for me......the headroom in a 911 is excellent, especially if you want to wear a helmet for track days.

Plus.....I really wanted to own a Porsche 911.......it has to be number one on the petrolhead bucket list.

But if I was not soo tall I would probably have a GT4.

How much weight doe sit save as that is the only benefit surely? If thats the case then the driver losing a bit of weight will be a lot cheaper and healthier lol

it describes itself as a minor saving

the big rear window is -6lbs (does the T have this or is it just the sides?)

The T has the lightweight rear and sides. Unless you have heated rear screen, in which case it's just the sides

Thinner lightweight windows increase engine cabin noise. This is the main purpose as opposed to any minimal weight saving particulatry in the case of the T.

Just remove some sound deadening and you can have weight saving and extra noise

The T also has less sound deadening, thin windows and no back seats.....it’s bloody deafening inside! ....... lol

But it’s great fun..... just perfect.

That looked like it was almost quite sensibly spec’d for a ‘T’.
Weight saving seats, brakes, glass...... until someone ticked the Sunroof box, to add weight in the wrong place rolleyes
And, for a T, wouldn’t RWS be more desirable than FAL?
Also, I actually think it looks better without the Sport Design pack.

My thoughts exactly......if it did not have the sunroof
I would have asked to px my Yellow T for this silver one.
I love the sports buckets!

I think a lot of people misunderstand this car including some owners ....

The guy responsible for the 911 at Porsche has / had a T and his only option was the sunroof .... Its not a track car, it’s a car for running down to Monaco, a Sunday drive , a weekend away finding that demanding road . and enjoying the roads ...the noise and the ambience ....

The sunroof only enhances the experience and noise..

Anyone who thinks it’s like any other 911, hasn’t driven anything else in the 911 range ... It’s like nothing else ...

Top spec car and good value with otr list new circa £100k meaning at current trade price the car has depreciated approaching £40k.

RWS unecessary on the T imo.

Agree on the sunroof and the sport des pack which does nothing for the uncluttered lines of the T.

from the outside it's hard to understand how lack of rear seats, door pulls and thinner windows can make it so different!
