Mine was adamant it was coming in october, then November. Then the end of the motor show. Then early 2022. They know nothing.

Yes. As mentioned previously they are doing an ST but not a T for the 992.

I know what will happen - your dealer will fob you off for a year and then say they are not doing a T but they are doing an ST....and you can't have one.

I'm pretty certain my dealer is doing it purely to keep my deposit

They are going to do it if demand wanes easy option to make a few tweaks to boost sales

can't be much demand then. No spy shots, no nothing, and once those leak its usually a few years thereafter, its not happening....but the 992 ST is.

Hi all, without wanting to sidetrack this thread, I am looking for a PDK Carrera T. I know, I should get a manual! All my previous sports cars are manual - but need a do everything car now that will still feel special, and my dog can stay on the rear parcel.

Just in case anyone has a nicely specced one they want to sell; I’m not a dealer.

Ashgood have one in at the moment.

Why the change to PDK? If you’ve had and don’t mind manual…

20 T's for sale. Don't think I have ever seen so many available. The bubble appears to have burst on them I reckon.

Unfortunately yes
That's not what I've been told.

Have been in conversation with three Centres in recent weeks, about general 992 availability, and they each volunteered that they were expecting the 992T quite soon, possibly this Autumn.

One, I know quite well, said it's not a difficult variant to produce, as the various 'T' models - 991T, Boxster T, Cayman T, Macan T - have largely been minor production-line mods to the standard cars. He suggested that the delay has probably been due to the general supply shortages, and the need to make some provision in the marketing schedule.

It could be interesting if it has a simplified spec., bit of weight saving, base model with manual box, and you can put one on the road for c.£90k (ish).

keep that dream alive. I hope it comes true but look at how many 992 models there now are, it's nuts. I can't see space for another...but I hope it does happen

Previously the fun car has been something that lives in underground parking, by definition doesn’t really get use that much. Trying to get something now that can go on the street, not quite the main car, but something I could choose to use mid week if you see what I mean? Live in central London really is a pain for manual, especially with all the traffic nowadays!

My T is my first PDK after 6 manual Porsche for the same reason exactly. I wouldn’t go back to manual unless I lived in the country somewhere, stop start traffic is just a ball ache nowadays.

You’ll not be disappointed but strangers on the internet will question your manliness.

I am looking for a nice low owner/miles manual in agate grey/Gt silver but they all seem to be yellow or red!

I just test drove a really nice Miami blue one at Porsche Hatfield. Going to think about it over the weekend, but my feeling is the girlfriend won’t be madly keen on the Larry colour! Really, I would like a GT silver PDK fairly high spec car, rear steering, bose.

Nice but sunroof and 918 style seats, if folding buckets might have been a contender

Seen that one online, love the colour but not a fanboy of yellow bits in the interior would have preferred silver!

I thought that was the only bucket seat option available on the T at the time.

Thanks for confirming. Therefore the prospective buyer is looking for the wrong car if they want folding bucket seats.
