I've been led to believe there will be a few items added as standard with the price increase!
In classic Porsche fashion it seems not, they've reduced the colour choice but have made more options available.

Must say, that was my take on it also! Basically ripping the backside out of the profits across the board sadly.

Interested if anyone else around has another car on deposit and whether the price rises have left you with second thoughts?

I am in that boat as I had ordered a GTS cab back in Sept last year and as I got a quick allocation for the T when it came out I went for it ostensibly as a stop gap. I am now near the top of the queue for the GTS but am having doubts about whether to just leave it and stick with the T. At some levels I suspect the T may be a sweet spot car anyway plus at the “old” pricing should be a better residual value bet over a couple of years - who knows really.

As Discussed, I am the other way round.

GTS cab locked with May build date; with proce increase it would be approx £10k more and I probably would of cancelled.

T has no build date so subject to price increase but it was around £20k cheaper pre price increase so a bit more palatable and defo not cancelling it.

I am conflicted.

As a customer, I am disillusioned… I have an open order for 911 C2S from Nov 2021 and no movement… Aventurine Green has now been discontinued…. I have seen two prices increases and little to show for. if not for my 992T imminent arrival I would probably change horses/brand.

As a shareholder, I enjoyed good growth and I understand the price increase is in direct response to unsaturated demand and long waiting lists.

So, once I am sat in the 992T , they will probably have to surgically remove it from my clutches.

Interesting reverse dilemma to myself - if my GTS cab had arrived as a MY23 I’d definitely have taken it!

It’s all gone very quiet in here now, in the absence of any other cars appearing, here’s a few photos of mine after ceramic coating

Visited the OPC yesterday as I was passing for an update.

Mine is due in May 5th or there abouts, a fortnight earlier than originally expected and is not subject to the price rise, which is good news. List has gone up and all options by 15%.

Was told that the buckets weren't available immediately and would likely be available in 8-9 months time so effectively for a jan 24 build car.
Cant wait to get it. Deposit was placed on 30 November, so not too bad a wait compared with others.

Out of those who've confirmed your spec - how many of you have gone for a manual?? I have and its going to be my daily driver.

Finmac, Benno, thanks for the clarification. I'm just a little cross.

My modest build goes from £102.8k to £110.6 which is a jump. I'm not interested in the bucket / Bose options so am getting the same car and paying £7,800 more..
Exactly the same situation as you, and it is mildly frustrating, but you can’t stop inflation.

I ordered and paid a £5k deposit last October and still haven't received a build slot. Am hopeful will get one in the 23 model year and catch the old price. If I miss the cut It will sting a bit but will no doubt survive.

Looks great in Red….oddly you’ve deleted the t badge on the rear in favour of 911. I kept the rear badge but deleted the side stickers…..

That looks well in red.

I also went for 911 badge and stripes with my 991!

Thanks. Yes I swithered between the standard T rear badge and the classic 911 badge. The T one just looked too fussy/cluttered for me in the end. Each to their own as they say!
