Hey guys, my commission schedule indicates that my 992T went to V260 - Body Shop, yesterday.
Is there any way to verify? My.Porsche website still shows 3/5 status.
My 992 has been here with me for 10 days, and the app still shows it in production at stage 4..!Is there any way to verify? My.Porsche website still shows 3/5 status.
I was hoping that in the third decade of the XXI century, the systems would be better integrated.

Finally drove my new T today. Having had two GT4s over the past couple of years I was a wee bit concerned as to how I’d like the T. After only a mile or so I thought how great it was to be back in a 911! And now 200 miles later I’m totally sold on it. GT4s, well and truly forgotten
That is great to hear Finmac.I was a little worried that 911 is bigger and heavier than 718, and it would be hard to improve on mid engined skateboard.

I have been contemplating changing my 718 GT4 for a T for a while now,
Any advice on the following spec - any must haves I am missing or anything you would recommend removing?
Porsche Code: PRKF54Y5
Had a quick look at your spec. To be honest it’s very similar to mine, in that it’s PDK, sunroof, rear steer and upgrade headlights. I have only had a couple of hundred miles driving so far but would say that each of these options works very well indeed and have absolutely no regrets about selecting them.Any advice on the following spec - any must haves I am missing or anything you would recommend removing?

Cant remember if you had the rear camera ticked, if not, I’d say it’s an essential. The other few cheaper none essential things I got and really like are the fancy fuel filler cap, LED door lights and a red Rev counter. Again, I’ve no regrets ticking these boxes.
Final comment is - blimey the price has gone up significantly (sadly).
All the best

Caymans are great, but 911s are better..!I’ve had both 981 and 718 GT4, but never really jelled with either of them. 991 Carrera T was a lot of fun, and I’m hoping the 992 Carrera T will be just as good
Morning!
I posted this elsewhere earlier, so apologies for the copy/paste, I just think it is possibly useful to share my experience so far after a few hundred miles of driving.
I’m actually quite jealous of everyone waiting for the arrival of their cars! The excitement must only be increasing given nobody has so far had anything bad to say! We racked up another 150 miles today into the North Yorkshire Moors; some of my favourite places in the world!
Someone asked a couple of thousand posts ago if I would miss the power of the GTS and I can 100% say with certainty that I absolutely do not! I can’t even tell if I’m honest… the power and speed is more than I could ever need. This now ranks as the best car I have ever owned and I have owned a lot of great cars over the years, new and old! They aren’t everyone’s cup of tea, but the decision to have MT is the single best decision of all; I have already been asked on several occasions if I wanted to sell and it’s a firm no… I’m smitten.

Glad you’re loving it! Likewise I’m now 250 miles or so under the cars belt. So much more enjoyable than my GT4s were, interestingly I’d say part of that is actually because it’s a PDK box v my manual GT4s. Despite the often referred to “weight penalty” I’m also delighted I ordered the sunroof - makes cabin much brighter and it’s nice to be able to open it for some fresh air. Can’t wait to get the car run in and be able to actually open it up properly to see what the performance is actually like…. I have an open order for 992 C2S as I have general aversion to most base model cars. I have considered GTS because of availability, but when 992T came along, I snapped one in a heartbeat.
Now reading all the T reviews, I am no longer sure if I really need nor wan’t the C2S. I need to drive it, to decide. Second validation point will be the launch of 992.2 to see what are they like. But you are right, the excitement level and feedback from fellow enthusiasts is amazing!

I'm not quite sure why you'd order a 992T and a 992S, other than an assumption that supply will remain restricted and the used market will continue to be as buoyant as current?I have an open order for 992 C2S as I have general aversion to most base model cars. I ordered 992S in Nov 2021, and while there was no movement in the queue, 992T came along. I got an allocation and I should be collecting it in May.Now I am not sure if I still need te 992S. Sorry, I wasn’t clear above.
