Lot of spec, also believe Cardiff sold their demo before it hit the road so there now no demo.....

Mine hits the bodyshop on Weds supposedly - what is the timeline from that point approx?

Its £140,287ex tax under the new 2024yr prices so under list. The person who chose the spec lost control.

That’s a crazy spec for a ‘T’.

Defeats the whole object of a simple, lightweight 911 banghead

Agreed, the T was probably incidental. Someone wanted base model with full house spec… then changed his/her mind(?)

Let’s see how fast it moves off the floor.

You'd be nuts to have that over something like this...

Absolutely to spec a T to that level is madness! Me thinks it’s a dealer car as don’t they get some extras free vs sales so more profit for them.
At £130k+ there’s a lot more better choices, 991.2 gt3 or a newish Gt4 with £30k in the bank!

To be fair at 100k the choice is a 992T or a newish GT4. The 992 is a bit more usable, which is why i went for that.

Definitely more useable and for me at least I actually find the 992 significantly more enjoyable to just jump in and drive. Way more so than either of my GT4s ever did.

How long does it take (on average) from Emden to the dealership?
I am getting impatient… where is the F5 button on my iPad :-)

It seems Emden is a ‘st shower’ at the moment- my car arrived there on 24 March and exited the port yesterday. That’s 4 weeks sat dockside. The next delay will be from Hull to Stockport & then on to Wilmslow.
Oh the frustration

Looks identical to a new one in the Solihull showroom. That's spec'd up to £128k at MY23 price

Another strange spec, all loaded with expensive stuff yet a manual rather than the (I suspect more appealing for the spec) PDK.

Been to the PEC at Silverstone today, riding 992 T in diff track conditions. What a spectacular experience, two weeks before my 992 T delivery!

To drive the exact model, just before delivery is a very rewarding experience. I was able to push the car much harder than I would be willing to do on a public road. The consultant/instructor was phenomenal and helped me experience different dynamics: understeer, oversteer, how to get it on and how to tone it down. It was particularly useful to me, coming out of the mid-engined Boxster.

My previous PEC experiences were way after or well before the delivery of the car, so it was more of a test drive. This time it was an proper immersive experience, just in time for delivery of the car. I am still pumped… I can’t wait to get into my car.

The Gentian Blue 911 is the Carrera T derivative. Great car… brilliant ride & drive.

Nice! I think the white car on the left (a manual S) is the one I drove there a couple of weeks ago. I saw they had just received a yellow T. Looks lovely in Gentian Blue.

Yes, it does look menacing in GBM
