Thanks heyzy78 for sorting my uncertainty and poor descriptions out!
Haha no worries, I’ve studied that options list to death. Wish I’d been as good at my A-Levels smile

This is my latest spec: http://www.porsche-code.com/PJDUAY31

Yellow, Manual, LWBs, PCCB, T interior in yellow, PCM, Bose and a couple of other bits

I'm not sure though whether to keep one or both of the buckets or PCCBs. I know a few people have commented that the LWBs are too upright and I think I agree although I haven't spent any real time in them to form my own opinion (got PEC at the weekend to hep with that). There are some seat angle adjusters which should help in this regard but I'm struggling to find anyone local with them. I'd rather regret not getting the buckets than regret getting them, which is sort of swaying me towards the standard seats with sport-tex.

With the PCCBs it's more about the £6k they cost!

I had Carrera GT buckets in my 997.1 GT3 which I think are the same as LWBs? Did not like them in the GT3, too upright and i was always hunched ever so slightly forward to clear the head rest when wearing a helmet. Conversely the folding buckets in my 981 BGTS were mega.

Spec Looks great. I think you need to try the buckets, a lot of money if they don’t fit/suit.

I think leather dash is standard, certainly if you spec the interior T pack. The leather dash trim is extra stitching around some of the elements in the dash, such as air vents.

Hi Bud,
On another forum a poster stated the ""fixed bucket"" did not give his lower back ample support. This is the main worry with buckets and some end up buying this type of cushion to aid them.

https://www.relaxtheback.com/self-inflating-back-r...

Its inflatable, so the perfect fit / aid for all drivers. The poster said the old Carrera GT fixed buckets worked and fitted fine for him. Strange how different and sensitive the lower back is to just a slight difference in seat design.

This is a good point. The Buckets in the 918, 991R, 991RS and GT3.2, whist all have Elec height adjust, along with look very close. In my experience they all feel quite different.

On the GT3.2, I just roll a small towel up for the lower back area this sorts it perfect.

Still struggling to decide but dealer just called and said they need it now to prevent a delay.

not necessarily. the m3 csl's without a/c and radio don't command a premium even though they are rare

also the rear seats of any 911t could easily be removed, I doubt the pcm is difficult to remove either. probably worth speccing the glass though but even that is probably not that difficult to fit retrospectively

people aren't buying this car for the weight saving

Hi Keith
For me, I think they may be a tad too upright rather than a lack of power back support although I do quite like the overall feel of them - I'll caveat my comments with the fact that I've only sat in them in the showroom, albeit for the best part of an hour. Autoquest do some seat angle adjusters which many have said resolve the issue but I don't think I'm brave enough to dive in and get them without having spent some time in them on the road.

Is there a way to remove the padding and add lumber support underneath it? I know on Porsche fixed buckets of old (993RS etc) you could lift the Velcro pads and move the inserts to suit your body shape etc.

Hi cymario, As long as you have ordered what you want, I am sure it will be a great car for you. New cars are all about getting what YOU want.

The T interior is an obvious but good choice and you've gone for that, I am sure most will agree with you.

I have gone for yellow interior so can't disagree with your choice, although I've overdosed and gone for Chrono and main dials in yellow smile

The added yellow of the PCCB's would look great too but is a big ticket item to go for if just for colour ( I did though )

Although personal preference, I am not sure the Titanium grey wheels would break up the mainly black exterior and tie in with the mirrors and side decals. Purely personal though.

Think the allocation is about 2 to 4 per OPC. Wasn’t a massive demand in October/November a la GT cars but not sure there’s any slots left
