Hah, at the speed I was going it must have looked like "Driving Miss Daisy". I was a bad advert for the GT3.....

Edit: if it was just before lunch, it would have been the instructor driving not me.

Goodness, what a lovely package. The engine was free-revving and because it is not over-powered, I could enjoy using all of the throttle more of the time! I found the seven speed 'box to be smooth and lovely to use; heel & toe downshifts were a pleasure. The steering gave great feel, with a real sense of what was happening at the contact patch.

So, having really enjoyed the standard car, I confirmed my spec. for a T this afternoon, having provisionally specced a car a few weeks ago.

My car will be mid-March build, and with the following spec: Racing Yellow, Sport Design package, Carrera wheels in satin grey, yellow stripe T interior package with standard seats, PCM, rear wheel steer and manual gearbox. It's a simple spec.

I am looking forward to it arriving!

Sounds great... When I ordered the T I wanted to try the PDK and the manual .. back to back.... The manual was a great drive, very linear, punchy and direct... I was impressed with the gearbox , felt similar to me like the RX8 I had about 14 years ago.....! I think the quite modest power and the gearbox make it an immense and useable road car.... should be here in a few weeks...Can’t wait.....

I had specced mine without originally, but put it back in on the advice of the dealer.

Can't believe I am the only Guards red car so far!

GR and GTSM most popular for new GT3 with white half as popular and yellow virtually non existent! In the UK at least.

Interesting that the Racing Yellow launch colour of the T and Red of the GT3 clearly has a major influence!
