Anyone for ‘T’
Discussion
I guess it'll depend at what point the 992 build starts- carrera coupes are usually the initial builds- l can't see the T running alongside them. Targas and convertibles yes, but not the basic coupe format of a T.
Over the run of the 991 the T numbers will be small regardless, in this perspective it is limited, whether that influences residuals remains to be seen- if that's anyone's priority?!
Regards the GT3, I'll surprised if there's not a few more of them built in September as well.

Locked mine down today - road tax made me wince.
OPC said they have just had a further 3 cars become available, but the T will still be way lower in numbers than the GT3.
My OPC has 4 Ts and 7 GT3s allocated.OPC said they have just had a further 3 cars become available, but the T will still be way lower in numbers than the GT3.
And thats it.
Bear in mind the factory shuts April to September for e platform.
All 911s will be in short supply.

Not sure how many GT3s my OPC has but they've also told me that they will only get 4 Ts And thats it.

Thanks for the kind words.
The options I have had are;
Gt silver
Full bucket seats
Gt sport steering wheel
Interior T pack
Led lights in black
Yellow instruments
Chrono in yellow
Sports design pack
Tinted tail lights
Similar configuration to mine coming in March
I went to my OPC and they had every seat option available in stock cars. Very helpful and let me go out in a few. I loved the LWBS - comfortable and added greatly to the sense of occasion. I can see why people might not want them for a daily driver but for a weekend car they were great.

Has anyone noticed that DAB has become a no cost option on the configurator? Originally it was showing as a standard item in conjunction with PCM, I hope it hasn't been removed, can anyone confirm?
Yes - I have! Induced mild panic, so I contacted my OPC who said strange; DAB was showing on the original order on their system but not as a ticked option. They got me to update the order to include it. So seems not to be an issue but a bit odd of Porsche to do this. Nuttsoncars said:

That is odd. It's listed in the 'Standard Specification' document for the base Carrera as: 'DAB digital radio (DAB, DAB+ and DMB)'.
That line of text is no longer showing in the same document for the T, probably because the T doesn't come with PCM as standard.
However, my final order form for a T, completed in December before DAB became listed as a no-cost option, states in the specification:
'DAB digital radio (DAB, DAB + and DMB) (included with no cost option of Porsche Communication Management
(PCM)).'
Which begs the question, why now make DAB a separate option and not include it with PCM?

I picked up a GT silver T with full bucket seats and a manual box today and I can’t tell you how good it is, great gearbox, fantastic noise, as much power as you need day to day and a fantastic looking car.
Looks lovely, kind of wish I’d gone for the sport design front bumper now. Thought it looked odd on the configurator, but it looks good in real life.Nice little 2-part review, from That Nine Eleven Guy - Driving from South of France back to OPC Reading over 48hours.
