I'm sure V8skn will correct if wrong, but I think it is GT silver. Whatever, I have to say that, in many regards, I think it's very possibly the best colour for an unadorned (sans graphics) 997.1 GT3. Really does show off the curves beautifully.

From sunny Dubai - Picked up the GT3 only three weeks ago - was in reasonable company during its minor service...

Like that wheel finish. Can't quite make out from pictures, but are they satin grey/platinum?

For me it has to be the RS, I found the 991 only became really enjoyable at silly speeds, it is so accomplished but to me the extra involvement of the manual is part of it but out of all the cars I've owned the RS was special, it was a raw mechanical appeal and the fabulous sound that made every drive special no matter what speed you were travelling at.

The GT cars have no doubt moved on but to me they have lost that bit of engagement, maybe the 991 is a bit easier to drive quickly, difficult to put your finger on it, possibly it is too good as a road car at legal speeds hence not quite the same fun factor as the 997RS. IMHO to get the most out of the 991 GT3 you need to be on track and for me I do 4 or 5 track days a year and 7 or 8K road miles which I guess influences my view on a weekend / 3rd car.
