Well done. I found it difficult to get build slot let alone a discount smile

I think the market changed after launch. I bought a .2 TTS at a modest discount, was then offered a.2GT3 and sold the .2 TTS at list via OPC with OPC taking a fee across the deal. Pretty much break even motoring.

As it happened the TTS.2 had already done the RS and Anglesey track days and had acquitted itself well at both events so there is little reason to question its outright performance. In my hands the .2GT3 would not have been quicker at either circuit

Comparing the two I would say that the GT3 has more theatre but is not any faster across the broad spectrum of driving. To its credit the GT3 now has excellent low down torque which I like and the ride is remarkably good for such vehicle. In many respects the 991.2 GT3 is closer to the 991. 2 TTS than it is to the 997.2 GT3.

If I were to have only one car it would be the TTS but if there are other options available then there is certainly a place for the GT3

quite

anyone spending 10 mins or more reading about 911s would come to same conclusion given the criteria listed by the OP (and I own a turbo)

Remember that the .2 GT3 has helped springs, having owned a .1 GT3-RS with helpers and a .1 GT3 without, the RS won hands down when it came to driving to trackdays and crappy B-road blasts!

Don’t discount a new 2 GTS, 450bhp get the right Spec RWS etc and you won’t look back.

Ride quality is excellent - you could use as a daily driver no problem what so ever - especially if PDK smile
Thanks for that confirmation and yes, will be PDK smile
If PDK it will be very easy to live with every day on the road - basically it’s a Jekyl and Hyde car - easy to potter around in all day long turning into a brutal thing if required smile
