Associated issues with clutch replaced, low miles 997?
Discussion
Hi all
Thanks to lurking on this forum for the last few months, I'm pretty close to getting my hands on my first 911. I've seen close to exactly the car I want but it's right at the top of (well, slightly out of!) my budget so I need to be extra careful. It has relatively low miles but has already had a (recently fitted) clutch and flywheel replacement. Cosmetically it is in fantastic condition so it's been well looked after in this respect. It's been serviced at a main dealer prior to this which is good but my question is, given it may have had a less than 'sympathetic' driver operating it, is there anything else I should look out for that may have suffered as a result?
Thanks in advance.

Hi, you may be talking about my GT3 which is for sale at Cardiff OPC?
The car developed a leaking RMS which was sorted out under warranty whilst it was apart I thought it prudent to put a new clutch in her as all I had to do was pay for parts. Originally this car was bought as a long term keeper for me due to low miles and condition. Hence I thought with a new clutch I could rest assured for the length of my ownership.
The nice problem to change keeping the vehicle was I was offered a 991.2GT3 build slot which I happily accepted. Sadly how ever much I wanted to keep her I could not afford sadly to keep both.
If it is my car she's bob on hence why originally I was keeping her long term.
Cheers
Dave
